Good morning to the people of the HIVE
Today I am here to talk about the current trend of Crying Kids in town.
I kind of knew that there are currently a whole lot of kids that cry a lot to get what they want from their parents and this hit me like a truck when my wife’s niece came to our house and she was a lot to handle.
It came to my notice that she used to cry first even before asking for anything and demanded something from her parents without missing a beat between her cries. It really was a hassle and I for one was fed up with it as I really don’t like Cry babies.
It seems there has been a trend going on about babies not asking their parents for something and instead they lead the way by crying and emotionally blackmailing their parents into buying what they want.
So for this trip of my wife’s niece I decided to start treating her very very strictly. I repeatedly reminded her that if she cries she gets nothing and only when she stops crying and asks me properly for something I will provide that for her. It really was a journey where at first she was really adamant on just crying to get things done but upon the 2 day mark she started to change her ways when she understood that Crying was not making things work for her.
But I only had 5 days with her niece and that is not enough to change her habits but it was good to see that even though it was for a short while I was able to teach something to a little kid.
She Now knows not to cry for attention near me.
