I finally could exchange my gathered Ecency points for a decent upvote. It seems that a bot is a heavy duty these days.
Yesterday, my earnings on Ecency and additional frontends almost covered all my daily menu needs, so I am a happy camper today.
I will do that each day to inspire myself to be more productive.
I am not sure about how successful I will be daily, but with a little bit of our favorite combination, I could be just fine.
I swapped almost exclusively onto Ecency and changed my blog branding accordingly.
I measure my success by comparing it to my daily meal expenses. It turns out I am doing just fine.
Regardless of the fact I might not be able to finance an entire menu ( I need to lose a few... grams anyway), some items are not essential.
Anyways, this was earned by a post about our tortoise, which proves ( once again) that reptilians are so much better at making money.
I frequently used some apps to schedule my tweets.
I was using Zapier, Buffer, Sociosight, and Tweetdeck to schedule and share HIVE posts that I like, and also my own blogs. But, each of those applications imposes some sort of limitations, and that is just not useful for me. I also like to have an app for my phone. That's why Ecency came out as my main app and not Peakd or dBuzz, which are all great.
Zapier doesn't truncate tweets in case my text is too long so instead of a post with a title, hashtags, and link, it comes out like a title.
Buffer limits free accounts to a certain set of posts per day, so in case I want to schedule 10+ I can't do that. It is great if you have less.
Sociosight is very basic posting and I don't think that they have a mobile app either. They are still beta-testing.
Tweetdeck has no mobile app and I dislike the interface, same as Hootsuite and a plethora of other similar applications.
I also got my share of POSHs comments, but not many tokens. If there is any other way besides receiving votes on their bot on Hive, I am not really aware of it. I was also surprised that a mature veteran Hive user @oluwatobiloba asked me about hiveposh.com because I thought everyone knows about that, which just proved that I have been living in my own bubble and you know I am prosaically so full of my own echo. Anyways, it is a very nice nifty way to put some grease on yet another Hive token, and we are really well sauced with those. We have a token for everything. Long-term financially this model benefits only a token ( or a bot) IF the value doesn't break a margin, which will not happen because you know ... everything slowly plummeted. In exchange, we receive a nice social media game and some tokens, a place on a rich list if gather a nice sum, anddd... it is fun. That's how much I know about it. I am not really interested in all the financial aspects and what my gains specifically from POSH are, because I would share those posts on Twitter anyways.
About Twitter itself, I have more than one thing to say. The main thing - is my traffic per post just went to shit. It wasn't gravy before, but a slight change is noticeable. I guess wrong hashtags...
I also really like this new stuff - Liketu. It allows us to upload pictures and make paid Tiers for your fans.
All instructions are here: https://liketu.freshdesk.com/support/home
Liketu website itself looks a bit unfinished, no nightmode, I couldn't find any social accounts, it's not listed on Hiveprojects and a year is not updated. I like the idea of it, but it needs work.
