Erm, UH what a question... Well, for that to know I would need to recalculate my food per day and per meal, and because my food is so plain that was a straightforward task.
All of it is much cheaper because I buy at a discount and cook absolutely everything at home.
I am also intolerant to a certain food. For example, I can't eat grains or soy, so I don't have them on my menu.
I also do not tolerate many shelf foods, as they contain either additives that I and my kid can't eat or they are directly related to grains and soy.
For some time I was using an app - for the purpose of my health issues - to count my calories and food quantity, so I know how much of what I eat.
I also cook and buy groceries for my family, so on average, I can calculate how much I spend and eat myself.
So, can I make a general menu for a single day?
- Yes. I don't eat all the same every day, but I can generalize it around some values.
Does that menu has enough of everything for me?
- Yes, this covers all my needs, with an exception of a few things, but I do not eat them every day.
Can I go lower per day, in case I can't cover everything?
- Yes, I only need to exclude some things or lower the mass of the food, and that is it.
This is my daily general menu in the picture.
I split food into three groups - 🔵brunch, 🟢lunch, and 🔴afternoon. I don't really eat anything after 4 PM and I don't have breakfast beside a cup of coffee from 5-6 AM.
And a table with all the prices and calory values.
meal | description | icons | USD price | calories |
---|---|---|---|---|
brunch | coffee with milk &sugar, 2 bananas, pancakes with honey and butter | ☕️🍌🥞🍯🧈 | 0.11+0.44+0.18+0.08+0.01 | 553 |
lunch | 250g potatoes, 100g fish, 100g vegetables, 4 tbsp olive oil, amino acids | 🥔🐟🥦🛢️🥤 | 0.2+0.32+0.15+0.21+0.09 | 949 |
afternoon | tea, 4 jelly candy, 1 yogurt | 🍵 🍬🥛 | 0.05+0.11+0.2 | 143 |
DAILY TOTAL: | ALL FOOD | 🪙 | 2.15 | 1645 |
So, to cover all my nutritious needs from my local shops and on all foods being on discounts - I would need to earn 2.15 USD per day on HIVE, or a cumulative sum of 64.5 USD per month - both HIVE and tokens.
But, if you take a look at my last four finance reports it says that I only made 15.66 USD from HIVE in total for 4 weeks.
This means that I made 0.56 USD per day, which is half of my brunch - well a cup of coffee with milk and sugar, plus 2 bananas...
I can brag that this is much more than some people can buy with that in their local shops.
Now, it is obvious that you can't live from that - unless you are very, very small or you developed a chlorophyll by miracle and sprout some roots - so I will need to up my game or starve.
Now, let's see if I can catch THAT COIN!
