Ā Ā Ā This week's challenge is a simple one, but should be a lot of fun. I would like to see local desserts from your part of Southeast Asia and/or local desserts from abroad for SE Asians living outside their home country. Whether you want to share a recipe and make something yourself or buy it from a local seller, the main thing to remember is that it should be a dessert that is very common in your area or perhaps even unique to your locale only.
Ā Ā Ā Whether it's Cambodian mung bean pudding or sticky durian rice from Malaysia, I know there are many special desserts in this part of the world. If you buy it from a local seller, feel free to also document the location and any other details you find relevant. If it's a dessert very unique to your country or locale, some history or background of the dish would also be welcome content too.

Ā Ā Ā Our community challenges have become very popular, and now it's often hard for me to read all the entries in one night. That was the case this week, but better late than never, and it was nearly impossible to choose only three winners.
