July 8th, 2021Our HP is up 15,000 HP+ this week, and that's mostly thanks to @davidke20's generous uptick. He has increased his delegation to a whopping 30,000 HP, and as much as I'd like to match him, I don't even have 30,000 HP in my account, so I upped my delegation to 25,000 HP, increasing it by nearly 5,000 HP. We are now closing in on 100,000 combined HP.
This wasn't the only delegation activity though, @luueetang increased his delegation to 945 HP, and a totally new 100 HP delegation appeared from @akhyar23, making him an instant SILVER VIP. @bluepark came onboard with a 25 HP delegation, not enough to become a bronze VIP, but enough to be eligible for the daily raffles.
Well, that pretty much sums it up folks, obviously Dave's massive uptick is the highlight of this week's activities. This 30,000 HP delegation is so large that it actually affected the percentages of all VIP tiers, increasing the Diamond VIP tier's claim to 66% of the overall raffle winnings. Dave has left me speechless, and now my mind is busy wondering how I can take ASEAN Hive to the next level.....surely a good place to start is increased rewards for ASEAN Hive VIPs.

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @kidsisters, & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are four separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
This week's total effective HP is 96,141, and total delegated HP is 91,622 HP (61,728 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
The more you delegate, the greater your chances are to win, and this weekly raffle is just a fun way to reward supporters of Southeast Asian content on Hive.
