I have never had such an interest in cooking before. I started cooking from the 2020 lockdown. I have never tried cooking before. In the 2020 lockdown we all start spending lazy time sitting at home. There was really nothing to do then. Sitting at home, I thought it would be nice to be able to type something into an experiment. Now with the help of youtube, we can easily try local and foreign recipes at home. I dare to try cooking mainly for youtube. Then slowly the cooking seemed quite experimental. I used to feel good when I was successful in the experiment. If the dish was not taste good, I would have wanted to try more. I felt like I had to try harder and practice more. That's how I spent my entire lockdown time.

This afternoon at home, I was trying the normal chicken recipe. That's when I remembered my childhood, there was a cooking show on TV at that time. Probably the name of that program was Siddika Kabir's recipe. I was very young then and did not understand anything about cooking. I was very young then and did not understand anything about cooking. One of the reasons is that I liked Siddika Mam very much. Her program did not have much external glamor yet some of the most extraordinary recipes were served.

The thing that I liked the most was in this program, recipes were given keeping nutrition in mind. From simple cooking to difficult was taught here. At that time YouTube was not so popular. Bengali housewives used to try new recipes after watching these programs. She had a cookbook. Perhaps the name of the book was ‘ Ranna Khaddo Pusti‘. When I was a child, I used to see my mother looking at this book for different different nutritious recipes. Siddika kabir will always remembered as a cooking legend to Bangladeshis.
