Hello, Hivers. I hope everyone is doing well. Often, late at night, my stomach would complain. I always eat dinner early, and my stomach is already empty by midnight. I'm the type of person who would just sleep on an empty stomach rather than trouble myself cooking late at night. I also don't want to disturb people that are already sleeping. Imagine the noise I would make in the kitchen that would wake them up. No matter how hard I try to avoid making sounds, they would still hear me. Aside from sleeping like chickens, they also leave their doors open. Also, I wouldn't say I like to wash after. With everyone's snoring, washing is the last thing I want to do. So cooking is a big no. I'm also used to not eating again after brushing my teeth, for I wouldn't say I like brushing it over again.
But there were times when the hunger was unbearable and feel like starving to death and I had no choice but to give in to my stomach's demand. Still no cooking involve. Ordering online is never an option, for the guard downstairs would call the residents to confirm the delivery before letting it deliver your order. Everyone would be scared if the phone rang at midnight and thought there was an emergency😌😬. I don't want them to panic and I would get scolded 😁. In case of emergency, I stock up on cookies and biscuits inside my room.
Just grab one or two, and the problem is solved. Sometimes, I don't feel like eating these biscuits because I find them too sweet and cannot sleep properly after consuming them.
That's why I have fruits ready as an option. I always sneak in one banana at night for my late night snack if I'm not in the mood to eat cookies.
There's water and some beverages to help with my hunger. Sometimes, I would drink water and sleep on an empty stomach. I don't have a problem sleeping hungry because I'm used to it. When I wake up in the morning, I still feel good and completely forget about my hunger the night before.
I apologize for some dark photos; I captured them at night when my hunger struck. I remember last time when I was at home in the Philippines. Sometimes, we cannot contain our hunger after watching TV shows around midnight and we would end up cooking noodles with eggs. We ate before going to sleep: my sister and I. If not, we would tip-toed, take some bread that our mother keeps in the kitchen, and eat until we're complete enough to sleep😁. It's only fun to do it if you have an accomplice. Here, I don't enjoy doing it alone. Foods taste different, and there's no fun in doing it. Just waste of effort and energy. That's why, most of the time, I would curl up to bed and just sleep.
That's all for today, guys. Have a wonderful weekend. See you around♥️
