Afterlife Altruism: Organ Transplantation In My Perspective

in #hive-15385019 days ago

Hello Hive Learners Community! Welcome to my blog. When one or two organs become dysfunctional, they are either replaced or terminated. It is not a case with single organs like Heart, Liver, and Pancreas. These organs can only be transplanted when someone is dead. Before the cessation of life in whole body, they can be removed and can be kept alive in artificial biological systems. To provide an organ is like to gift a new life to someone.

It is not so easy to gift life to anyone for all. Although there are cases when people gift their single organs to their lovely people and they choose death for themselves.

Why Organ Transplantation is Hateful Practice?

Organ Transplantation has big religious hindrance. There are many religions in which it is considered to be a sin even though they are picked from dead carcass. People avoid and hate its practice especially when organs are taken from a dead body. It is against human ethics to take organs when someone is dead. Hence it is still in the list of social abnormality. Our society is still unable to understand its importance, we need to educate them.

I was reading an online news on a newspaper that there is army in Palestine who is taking organs from the dead bodies of Martyrdom. They have business for organ transplantation. Although people are dead but it is unethical and against the human rights to steal organs from carcass. Either this practice is done in a country independent of religion; or it is done at specific point, I'm ready to strike against these people. If someone has permitted to use his organs after death then we can take otherwise I shall hate this practice.

Organ Transplantation in Pakistan

Pakistan is an Islamic Country where we love to follow everything according to Holy Quran. I have found a class of Scholars that are against the organ transport from carcass. For them, we should burry a dead body according to Islamic rites. Some Scholars allows organ transplantation when it is essential to someone's life but the Donar should be willing for recipient. I have seen, some reports in which eyes were gifted to a blind son after death of his mother because hir mother was willing in his life and had permitted. Moreover, when a case is presented for postmortem, if someone is unable to pay postmortem fee then surgeons take organs from dead body to meet the expenses. Still our government has no decree or laws in which organ transport from dead body will be essential. Pakistanis still dislike this practice hence it is very rare in my homeland.

Final Thoughts

First of all, it is impossible to constitute a law regarding organ transport from dead body in Pakistan. If any government will make a law for organ transport from dead body and do decree if someone opposes it then I shall prefer to accept decree or punishment. I shall not let Government to steal any organ from the dead body of my relatives. I want to burry everyone intact after death. I shall follow Islamic Burial Rules and Regulations.

It's true that doing that is against some religious beliefs and that's why people's opinions must be respected.

As a fellow muslim I fully support your claim. Organ donation is a celebrated thing in the global west, but not in these parts of the world. I think there is a lot of grey area in this debate. Because these organs are also saving someone's life. But at the end, everything is Gods' will.

Indeed. As long as we are willing to donate it's ok but government has no right to implement such a law.
