From People's Thinking to Curriculum, everything has its better alternative from its past. It is the main reason that subjects which were taught a few years ago are now either replaced or merged with other subjects. We need to fulfill the demands of the modern era. Hence, it is essential to educate our students accordingly.
Useless Courses In 2024
There are a few subjects that are no more part of our syllables in Universities and Colleges. There was a time when people liked to do graduation in them. Now, no one likes to be admitted to them because they are no longer needed. Technology has presented better replacements for them. There are the following subjects that have better alternatives.
- Language Courses
- Philosophy
- Library Science And Arching
- Music Course
Around the world, there was a time when people were more interested in Language Courses, Philosophy, Library Science, and Music. With Advancement, now people don't like to do these courses because there is more need for learning for them because:
We have fast and modern translators in robots, androids, and in tablets. They can read, translate, and even write our messages in Multiple Languages. A man can speak and understand a maximum of two, three, or four languages; a robot or AI Gadget can do the same job for hundreds of languages.
Similarly, there is no need to add the subject of Philosophy to the Curriculum because many Philosophies have been turned into big lies after the discovery of technology. Now, people don't like to believe in Philosophies; they believe in experimentation and evidence.
Library Science is not a big and interesting subject in the Curriculum now. After the discovery of digital libraries and online courses, no one wants to read Library Science and Arching. By simple searching, you can find many books in one click.
Music is one of the most trending and favorite subjects in the world. But it has been removed from the curriculum. To learn about Music, there is no need to visit a college or University; simply you need to open YouTube or Software or Applications where you can find many courses about music.
Final Thoughts
Technology Advancements are playing a crucial role in this era. They have modified a lot of things. Now, people are finding fields that are away from technology; these things are nearly impossible. AI is covering all the globe in its wings. Every field has its thick engorgement. Like other Worlds, Pakistan also has removed subjects of Library Science, Music, Language Courses, and Philosophy from its curriculum. Now, we are learning about modern fields and modern subjects. If we are interested in learning about them, then there is no need to visit a University or College; we need to visit YouTube and many social applications regarding them. It is easy to approach them due to developments in technology. We can get any information or any task from AI and robots, so we have to accept that the coming era will be rich in technology.
