5 Moments in A Simple and Thoughtful Life 🍀

in #hive-194848last year

Since I have begun to understand the greatness of the simple, I have found myself happier. Especially because I look back and I can see how much I have changed. Now I am a little more alone, I have fewer things, I go out less, but I am freer, happier and constantly growing, learning a little every day. This proposal of 5 photographs that exemplify our daily life in minimalism seems great to me, I share with you 5 moments in 5 photos that are a small sample of how I have been internalizing minimalism, although yes, I know that I still have a long way to go, I am excited about the road ahead.

Bela

This is Bela Valentine. A little dog that was given to me just 15 days before they decreed the quarantine in my city due to the sanitary issue Covid. And I can say that the confinement with her was not felt, to see her grow up was wonderful, although she was a very naughty dog. 😅 That time of isolation for me was very revealing, to realise how unpredictable life is and also to see how little is needed to be well and full, health and love was my conclusion. Within love there is of course Bela and the unconditional love she gives me every day. 😍

Papaya seeds

Since the pandemic I have taken control of my health. I have incorporated better habits and I am acquiring others. I have gone much more natural. Now I take raw garlic and coconut oil on an empty stomach. I make various herbal teas. I have started to dye my hair with Henna, I no longer use commercial shampoo but sikakai powder and other ayurvedic herbs. I drink my coffee without sugar, and a long etcetera that has been good for me. I just read about the importance of deworming and well, here I am on my fourth day of consuming papaya seeds. 😊

More Scrable Less Technology

I have a 13 year old girl, which is quite a challenging age, especially in these turbulent times we live in. I have had to put a parental control on her mobile to regulate her usage time, and it has worked. Fortunately, he likes to read, and that is also where he spends his free time. And we've been looking for space during the week for the two of us to spend time together without technology, like in the old days. We both love scrabble, so it's been a good ally to keep her away from the phone and share a good time, she's a bit of a cheater, but no way.

Gerberas

If you were to tell me which flower most resembles me I would say the gerbera. Simple but colourful, cheerful. I prefer them a thousand times more than the splendid roses. They may not be as luxurious or expensive, nor do they give off an exquisite aroma, but they make my eyes and soul happy every time I see them, and that's enough for me.

Nature

Like many people here, I love nature, and although I live in a flat, I always look for ways to be in contact with nature. I am no longer passionate about the big fashionable shopping centres, the crowds of people with shopping bags. I never liked the hustle and bustle. Now I prefer to lie on a lawn and listen to the sound of the pine trees in the wind. And I like this new version of my.
