Coming up with an idea: Gaming Captains Log/Gamer Entries

in #hivegaminglast year

I've thought of a new idea for myself that could be cool. Sort of like a 'Captains log' of gaming. 'Captains logs' in Nautical and Aviation are usually a summary of How the duration of travel went, crew reports, how the vehicle operated, and notes of interest with hours noted of each entry.

My 'Gamer's log' would just be a brief snippet from a game I played during the day with details explaining 'Game type', 'Duration of play' 'goal of the session' and 'moments of interest' along with some screenshots to help with the visual component

Gamer's Log Entry

Result: Victory
Outcome: Unexpected
Notes: Got shot by different enemies before ultimately dying in the tank. Acquired enough assist points to pilot a plane and destroy 2 enemy pilots

Low flight targets are tough

This is just a test of my idea with visualization though and to provide me with some game content to post that is slightly different.

The preview makes it look good but this format will change if I can find a better way to input a 'Gaming entry'.

This was fun to make though! I took a lot of inspiration from 'Captains logs' in the Nautical and Aviation field and wanted to see how a gamer would attempt it with my own twist.

Feel free to comment and give feedback or advice, I would appreciate it!

Thanks for checking it out.

I spend some time playing War Thunder and still find it challenging. Skill of some players is incredible.
Maybe include in your log Vehicle used, crew experience etc.
Good luck

Ah, I hadn't thought about the players that have actually played the game, adding more in-depth details for the specific games is a great idea as it will allow others to get a better idea of the screenshots and why the results might've turned out as they did! Thank you for feedback and comment. I appreciate you taking the time to help me with this idea.
