It's trend to have night market themes in the shopping malls in Shenzhen?

Hi guys, today is the 3rd day of my Lunar New Year holiday, I no longer brawl with my mom yesterday and this morning, so all good here.

Time to update my life in Shenzhen to my friends on Stars, it was another weekend right there, I didn't wake up too late, then I could go take a walk with my wife outside, she took me to another shopping mall where I seldom been before the pandemic.

The mall wasn't too far away from our home in Shenzhen, it only took about 20 minutes to there by taxi, weather was good, and quite hot at the same time (yeah, it was a summer back to that time) we couldn't wait to get into the mall for the air-con, somehow the air-con wasn't as strong as we expected, we were still sweating in the mall.

I didn't really enjoy shopping inside the malls to be honest as most the shops are the chains, so we can tell the shops in difficult malls are pretty much the same, I rather to walk around to see each decoration and theme of different mall.

As expected, we didn't entre so many shops in the mall and we ended up focus on our foods and decoration hunting in the mall only. It's funny to seeing that many malls do the night market themes inside as their decoration last years, the theme of the night market is Retro style, we can see some old model of television sets for 80/90's and some bicycle stalls on the streets either, but it was funny to seeing that they have the self service game booth in the night market, you only need to scan for the QR code to pay for the video console games there, a little funny contrast to the retro decoration there with such high tech, right?

We were struggling on which restaurant should we pick as we wanted all the foods from different shops, finally we went to the Japanese noodle shop (should say, we had no choice as many shops were full, only the noodle shop still got tables there as the price was a bit higher than the others, thanks to this and we didn't have to queue for our lunch)

Actually you can tell the noodle shop wasn't really empty, they were nearly full, just nobody queuing outside when we decided to eat there, indeed, people started queuing out there as well after we had take a seat for minutes.

Both my wife and I ordered the pork noodle (different part of pork though, but I can't tell the exact part anyway) and also a plate of Takoyaki (octopus balls) the noodle and pork was nice, but their soup base really caught my attention, it wasn't too salty and felt like they didn't use too many artificial stuff for the soup, I therefore drank all the soup, usually I don't drink the soup of the Japanese noodle, but this time was exception.

We went home after we finished our lunch in the mall, it was just too hot, we couldn't bare it, it's better to go home to enjoy the super cool air-con at home more than stay outside on the street, haha.😆
