Hello everyone, in this time I will show you an exciting battle in this Splinterlands Challenge.
This time the protagonist of the battle is Venka the Vile, demonstrating how strong she is, especially when she has the Enrage ability, and when the Stampede ruleset is active, to boost her trample ability.
Lore: Port Pristine was part of the Kingdom of Khymia before it bowed to the overwhelming might of the Chaos Empire. Now, Commander Venka the Vile rules the city with brutal efficiency. Her battalion of legionnaires enforces compliance with the laws of the Empire and ensures no one gets any stupid ideas about inalienable rights like life, liberty, and other such nonsense.
Lately, however, Venka’s legionnaires have been turning up dead: slit throats in some shadowy alley, felled in the street with an arrow to the eye by a rooftop sniper, or blown to bits by explosives both incendiary and magical. Her requests for replacements are drawing questions from her superiors, and Venka knows she’ll have to squash this little resistance before it becomes something more.
In the modern format, Venka the Vile is one of only 4 units that has an attack power of 7. Only surpassed by Heloise the Hollow, who is currently the only one that has an attack power of 8.
Venka the Vile was the first unit in the game to have the Charge ability, allowing her to attack from any position. Venka's attacks exceed enemy armor due to her Piercing ability. Also, if she attacks an enemy that has no attack, she will deal double damage thanks to having the Oppress ability. And if she defeats an enemy unit, thanks to her Trample ability, she will perform another attack on the next unit of the enemy team.
In this battle I'm once again using Eternal Tofu as a summoner. In the first position I used Chaos Agent, who thanks to having the Dodge and Phase abilities, has a higher chance of evading attacks and can also dodge magic attacks. Then I played the resistant Grimbardun Smith. Followed by Halfling Refugee (1 mana cost unit, which has more health and attack than many units) and Venator Kinjo (who will amplify the damage of the thorns, and slow down enemy units). In the fourth position our protagonist of the battle, Venka. And in the last position the healer, Goblin Psychic, who will also reduce the magic attack of enemy units.
Thanks to Eternal Tofu, I was able to grant the Corrosive Ward and Divine Shield ability to 3 units, I decided to give them to my first 3 units. On the other hand, the enemy used Cryptic, and granted the Poison and Expose ability to Daigendark Surveyor and his ally Venka.
In the first round, only my Chaos Agent was damaged and 3 units of the enemy team, but none were defeated.
In the second round, Merdaali Guardian defeated my Chaos Agent. And the health of the enemy Chaos Rear Guard was reduced to 3.
In the third round, Merdaali Guardian once again defeated one of my units, this time Grimbardun Smith. And the first unit of the enemy was defeated by my Venka.
In the fourth round, the enemy Venka made a double kill by defeating my Halfling Refugee and Venator Kinjo due to her Trample ability, but due to the Thorns effect she was also defeated in the process.
After the enemy Daigendark attacked my Venka, she gained the effects of the Enrage ability, providing her with 50% bonus melee attack and speed, and now Venka, after succesfully attacking Daigendark and defeating her, her trample ability triggers and she attacks and defeats every single enemy unit, winning the battle.
Full Battle
Thanks to the Enrage ability, Venka was able to reach 11 melee attack power, and thanks to the Stampede ruleset that made the trample ability trigger multiple times, Venka was able to defeat 4 units in a single turn, proving just how powerful she is, and even more so with the right rulesets.
