Hello everyone, welcome 👋, I want to show you one of my battles, using only bronze cards in the modern format.
Since the earthquake ruleset will be active, I decided to use martyr monsters (with 2 and 4 health), so that when they are defeated by the earthquake effect or by enemy monsters, they strengthen their adjacent allies.
And the Dragons, of course, will be on the battlefield, since they mostly have the ability to fly, so they cannot be damaged by the earthquake. These dragons (shown in the cover image) will face Quora Towershead, who becomes stronger each time she defeats a monster.
Let's see who won the battle:
Only the earthquake ruleset will be active in the battle, which deals 2 melee damage to non-flying monsters, at the end of each round.
-Rage destroys Enemy☠️Arkemis the Bear.
-Enemy Venari Marksrat defeats ☠️Hill Giant.
Round 2:
-Both ☠️Venari Marksrat were eliminated by the Earthquake effect, increasing its adjacent allies +1 to all stats.
-Redwyrm Dragon destroys Enemy☠️Pelacor Mercenary.
Round 3:
-Both ☠️Fungus Flinger were eliminated by the Earthquake effect, increasing its adjacent allies +1 to all stats.
-Enemy Quora Towershead defeats ☠️Pallus.
Round 4:
-No monsters were defeated in this round.
Round 5:
-☠️Quora is eliminated by the Earthquake effect.
-Redwyrm Dragon ends the battle by destroying Enemy☠️Regal Peryton.
My opponent also played the same martyr monsters that I used, in the same position. On the enemy side, Quora benefited from them. She was very strong, but because my dragon had 7 armor (from martyr effects), and the Void ability, it could withstand her attacks.
Having my summoner give the Ambush ability to my Dragons was a huge advantage as they dealt a total of 6 magic damage to the frontline enemy monster, before the battle began. With the help of my martyr monsters, the Rage dragon was able to obtain up to a total of 6 magic attack, and Redwyrm 3, which Quora could not resist and was defeated.
This battle ended with the victory of the dragons, who where the only ones who survived.
