Special greetings to all coffee lovers. I'm back here to participate in The Coffee Shop Prompt: 3, thanks to the invitation of my daughter @sofiaquino98, who like me is a coffee and tea lover. We love to share unique and special moments, accompanied with a good cup of hot coffee or an aromatic tea.
As she knows that I like to enjoy my coffees, sip by sip, without haste, and she also knows that I love to keep pictures of these moments of pleasure and relaxation, she made me this nice invitation that I accepted with pleasure.
Since I tasted coffee the first time, I was enchanted and since then, I consider myself an inveterate coffee lover.
Drinking coffee is a pleasure that many enjoy, both for the benefits it brings us as well as for the energy and vitality we feel at the end of a steaming cup of the black liquid.
When I arrived in Colombia, my daughter was waiting for me with a wonderful gift, a basket full of details and Colombian products that I had to know and try. Among these products, there was a package of Colombian coffee from the well-known Juan Valdez brand that I reviewed in a post, here in the community.
From there, I have been tasting many brands of coffee and of different profiles. The aroma of good Colombian coffee is an express invitation to try it every day, and several times.
And as I told you before, I love to photograph it, so the record of cups of coffee in photographs is extensive, which makes the memory of my cell phone is exhausted, but it does not matter because a little photo of coffee with many memories is always necessary. In these photographs that I would like to share with you today, I show you the different moments in which I enjoy coffee during my day to day life in Colombia, a traditional coffee growing country.
I drink the first coffee of the day at home. That is a moment of gratitude, because I wake up with the illusion of a new day, of living new experiences, and I am grateful for this at every sunrise. Besides, it is the coffee that my husband prepares with much love. When the aroma of coffee leaves the kitchen, I get up euphoric to meet my beloved and the coffee. While he continues to make breakfast, I update my daily coffee photo and connect with the family groups to send them a coffee with my wishes for them to have the best day possible.
Thus, different photos appear in my gallery with my colorful cups, enjoying my morning coffee.
The afternoon coffee, for the onces, as they say here in Colombia, the mid-afternoon snack, I drink it at work or while reading my book of the moment. It is already a habit to order my frothy cappuccino, sometimes accompanied by a piece of cake, but always hot to mitigate the cold of the afternoon in the city.
One of the things I love about afternoon coffee are the little cups in which it is served because they always bring a message that I look forward to with curiosity.
It is wonderful to enjoy a delicious coffee and at the same time receive a dose of love and motivation with these little messages.
Going for a walk and going into a coffee shop to savor the coffee that surrounds us with its aroma has become a hobby for me. Thus, I have known many coffee shops and I have tasted different coffees, both large chains and small and cozy cafes.
The best thing is to see the care taken to serve a good coffee with style and delicacy. I admire the baristas who give us beautiful designs in each cup, making latte art an added pleasure when drinking coffee. Impossible not to save a photo of these good times.
Coffee, nectar of the gods, must be, to be good, as ardent as your eyes, as black as your hair, as pure as your soul, as sweet as your kisses. (Francisco Villaespesa).
El café, néctar de dioses, ha de ser, para ser bueno, ardiente como tus ojos, negro como tus cabellos, tan puro como tu alma, tan dulce como tus besos. (Francisco Villaespesa).
