Good day, Hivers!
In my previous blog, I have mentioned that I have meet my long time friend and have a coffee while having some random conversations about the recent happenings in our lives. I can say that we haven't quite change after all those years. We're that same literature enthusiasts that we used to be back then, engaging in topics regarding books, poems, music, and Wattpad stories. The only difference now, I guess, was that how addicted we are to coffee and how elated we are to foods.

Before anything else, I think I forgot to mention that we had chocolate ice cream at Dairy Queen first. An energy booster for a weary soul, according to her.
Off we go to the benches available nearby to finish that first before going to another destination. At first, I thought she has some errands here at the mall that's why she invited me for a reunion but turns out that she came here so we can meet and talk in person in her day off. Hey, that was sweeter than the chocolate ice cream!
After that, we went to Fully Booked to check some book genres to our liking. Some of it caught our interests but the prices can't convince us. We're both on a tight budget, so it's a hard pass. After all that wandering in the North Wing, we finally starve and start discussing where to eat. Last time, we've been at Ribshack since she haven't tried there yet. Now, she suggested that I should try there at KIMBOB 'cause I haven't tried eating their Bibimbap yet. The last time we ate here, we ordered noodles but I forgot the name.
And it sinks in to me that she has been a fan of K-pop and K-drama ever since, so yeah, Korean Foods would come first in mind. Even now, her undying love for K-pop is thriving.
We're thinking of rice meals, but ended up choosing it only for myself since she was craving for Japchae. Initially, she wanted a serve of Kimchi Fried Rice and Japchae but had second thoughts if she can finish them all, or have a Bibimbap with me. After a while, our final orders were Japchae, Mandu or Korean Dumplings, Bibimbap and two regular sized cokes.
I should really explore more dishes from now on. I thought that the carrots, cabbages, corn, kimchi and the radish were the side dishes, I'm even hesitant to mix the sauce on them. So you have to mix them all with the sauce, now I know how it was eaten. Thanks to her help, but we have to laugh about it first. Well, she's actually right about it. The rice meal alone is heavy, so if she ever ordered Kimchi Fried Rice with Japchae, she couldn't finish them all. And obviously, I'm not such a foodie to help her with that. Unless it's coffee, then I wouldn't say NO.
And, that was how a date with my long time friend went. A happy and memorable moment for us both after years. Thanks for reading and have a good day!
