From the beginning of time man has always been an intelligent being, constantly looking to discover, understand, adapt, survive, and make life easier for themselves in whatever way possible. Over time we have slowly moved from the time of sticks and stones, to steam engines and heavy machinery, and now we're in a time of small chips and circuits, a time when we can can come online and troll someone who we wouldn't even be able to say a word to If they weren't 20,000 miles away. A time when I can get anything I want delivered to my doorstep just by tapping on a glass screen. That is some remarkable progress in my opinion.
But this progress hasn't been instant, it's taken centuries of hardwork, lots of battles and wars, a couple backsteps, and a lot more, all to achieve the things we see today. I remember when I was younger having a phone was a big flex, and if it was a touch screen you're a king, but now almost everyone has a touch screen phone, and those who don't, have a small button phone.
I don't know why, but we (humans) seem to always have the desire to know more. We want to know why? when? how? who? And how to control or remedy it (If required) whenever anything happens and that has helped us to stay ahead and keep evolving and developing new things. We have and are still training numerous intellectuals who devote their lives to discovery and invention of things meant to better the human life.
At times sit down and I wonder what next the human race is going to come up with. A handful of tools to make life even more easier like we're already seeing, or maybe even grand things like a teleportation device or time machine.
I'm sure If you had told anyone from the stone age that one day we would be able to travel to another country in a matter of hours by flight, or sit down to watch a TV in an air conditioned apartment full of bright chandelier lights while sipping hot chocolate he'd call you a mad man. But look at us now we're doing those things and it seems normal.
It's quite fun to think about what life would be like for me If I were living in the past or the future. The future is ahead so at least I can see some of it. I can only live so long but some of the things I'd like to see are teleportation and time machines. Whoever discovers them is going to have their name etched in history books.
If you could live long enough, what would you like to see being discovered in the future?
