The blessed month of Ramadan, a time of grace, When hearts are softened in its embrace, A time of fasting, prayer, and reflection, A season of spiritual connection.
The dawn breaks with suhoor, the pre-dawn meal, With gratitude, we partake with an earnest zeal, Savoring the nourishment before the day's fast, Preparing ourselves for a spiritual contrast.
As the sun ascends, the fast begins, Abstaining from food, drink, and worldly sins, A test of patience, self-control, and restraint, A purification of the soul, a spiritual paint.
We seek forgiveness in the depths of the night, In the solitude of sujood, feeling the divine light, Reciting the Qur'an, seeking wisdom and insight, Drawing closer to Allah, with hearts taking flight.
The mosque is adorned with a sense of peace, Congregational prayers, the soul's sweet release, As we stand shoulder to shoulder in unity, A bond of faith, a community in perfect harmony.
The aroma of iftar fills the air, With dates and water, we break the fast with care, Grateful for the blessings, the sustenance divine, With family and friends, in a bond so fine.
The nights are illuminated with Taraweeh prayer, Longing for the mercy of Allah, in awe and prayer, Seeking His guidance, His mercy, His grace, In this sacred month, a blessed time and place.
As the days pass by, and the month nears its end, We bid farewell to Ramadan, our spiritual friend, But the lessons learned, the memories made, Will linger in our hearts, an eternal cascade.
Ramadan, a month of blessings and bliss, A time of reflection, a time of spiritual kiss, A month of patience, self-discipline, and love, A gift from Allah, a treasure from above.
So, let us cherish this month, embrace its grace, Hold onto its teachings, its warmth we embrace, For Ramadan is a time of renewal and rebirth, A divine journey, a treasure of immeasurable worth.
