Top 5 selling point for YouTube Premium

in #hive-1635214 months ago

YouTube is one of the apps that most people use several times a day and on average every individual would open YouTube at least one time a day. That's because watching videos and watching shorts on YouTube is handy. Some people also use YouTube as a learning platform and even for a Google search, people go inside YouTube and try to watch a video to learn about something. Even if there is an advertisement, people don't hesitate to wait for it to get over and continue watching the video.

I was very surprised to see how kids handle mobile phones. My cousin's daughter is over a year and a half old. She knows how to operate a mobile phone and especially she knows where the close button is located and how to skip an ad while watching a video on YouTube. This was amazing and even my parents don't know how to close an app or skip an ad. This is how these generations of kids are growing. There are 5 major selling points for YouTube Premium which is what we are going to see in this article.

Ad free watching experience

This is the most awaited thing for any YouTube user. Premium offers an experience where we don't have to worry about ads at all. Many people try using brave browsers on their mobile phones or desktops to block ads but despite that, there are some ads that we cannot escape from. YouTube Premium takes care of that and provides an ad free watching experience which is amazing. This matters when we are watching something for hours together because they say we have to watch a 10-minute ad for watching a 1-hour video.

Free YouTube Music Premium

I don't know about others but I usually listen to a lot of music on YouTube rather than hearing then on other music apps. Maybe this has been a practice for me but it is good to have ad free experience on music as well. Having an exclusive app that plays music from YouTube will be another better feature to have because we don't have to download an HD video to just listen to music. This is a great feature again.

Download and watch videos offline

This feature used to be there earlier for everyone but now I guess it is available only for the premium users. I understand that Google will also need features to sell their premium so they moved this feature to premium users I believe. For those who are traveling, this can be a great feature because they can download all their desired videos at home and don't have to spend their mobile data for viewing. Sometimes mobile data can even be very slow.

Picture in Picture mode

I learned only today that this feature has a name. This is also an excellent feature. When want to use our mobile for other things, we don't have to close YouTube completely and do the other stuff. When we move to other apps on the Phone, YouTube goes to PiP mode and we can do both things at the same time. This is an amazing feature too.

Continue playing even if the screen is off

This is the best feature I would say. Sometimes if I'm watching something on YouTube during my travel, I want to lock my phone and put it inside my pocket, and continue listening. But unfortunately, if I lock the phone playing will stock if I don't have a premium feature. This is another interesting feature that will be useful for YouTube users.

Apart from the above-mentioned features, there are so many other features available too in YouTube Premium. People can explore other features too and see if this premium would be really useful for them.

Yes indeed.

Ooh wow
The part of it I love most is the fact that music can continue to play even while my phone is off
That makes sense to me though

I use youtube premium and my subscription is ending this month. Premium is better and I like using it and all these features I use.

This is really actually great to see these types of update coming up actually

Wow, a year and a half old child knowing how to navigate her way on YouTube is an amazing one. I think YouTube Premium is just fine with all those features, help to offer a more satisfying viewing experience. One of these days I'm gonna make an upgrade. Thanks for the info. Hope you are having a great weekend.

I remember when PIP was a big new feature on old tube TVs.

YouTube can be tremendously useful, many times I find a content creator who explains how to do a repair or modification of some equipment that I need to finish in the workshop.

They have a lot of interesting courses, lately I'm trying to catch up with Arduino programming and the course that costs more than $100, on YouTube I have free courses that maybe aren't as good as the paid ones, but they are a great alternative.

Yeah YouTube was my primary learning source too. If we don't have YouTube I'm wondering where we would have got our learning materials.
