LMAC Freestyle: A Mind Like an Aquarium

in #hive-17469529 days ago

Hello, Hivers! Hello, LMAC community!

This weekend, I just finished a new collage, and I’m really excited to share it with all of you. This time, I made a woman with an upside-down aquarium on her head. Inside the aquarium, tiny fish are swimming, creating a sense of calmness mixed with movement.

Actually, this collage feels very personal to me. It reflects how my mind has been lately, like fish in a small, confined aquarium. Full of life, ideas, and emotions constantly in motion, but all trapped within a limited space. They’re caught in a transparent, cramped container, endlessly circling the same place each day. The fish can see freedom so clearly, yet they remain stuck, unable to reach it.

I know everyone might interpret this piece differently. For some, it might feel like a metaphor for freedom within limitations. For others, it might just seem like a quirky piece of art, haha. Whatever it is, I’d love to hear what you see or feel when you look at this.

I hope you enjoy my collage, and don't forget to enjoy your weekend :)

The same might be said for the girl, who gazes out at us with a fixed, calm stare. Is she stuck? Are you?

For me it is a rather unsettling image. Beautifully executed, but having the sense of being, as you say, stuck, or trapped.

Interesting. Hope you have been well, @bayuismail

It reminds me our endless wishes but inability to achieve most of them. We see them, we can imagine them through the glass of our mind but can not reach them due to so many different reasons. On the other hand we are somehow encapsulated with what we need at the minimum. This contradiction drives me to ask where our needs and wishes intersect? Really interesting collage @bayuismail. Congratulations...
