Greetings Hivers and creative friends from LMAC! How are you all doing? I hope everything is going well. Today, I'd like to share my latest collage that I just finished last night. This collage was inspired by the song "'Free Now" by Gracie Abrams, which I've been listening to a lot lately. As is my habit, the inspiration for this collage came after listening to that song, similar to some of my previous pieces.
In this collage, I depict myself as a goldfish trapped inside a birdcage. Initially intended as a symbol of royalty to be worn by a king, the cage transformed into a space allowing the goldfish to shine despite its melancholic expression. Outside the cage, I placed several butterflies fluttering around, symbolizing freedom while the fish remains confined within.
The image with the red background was the initial version I completed last night, but I felt unsatisfied with it. Today, I changed its colors to what you see below. I prefer this version because the fish stands out more amidst the dominant blue hues in the picture.
