Hello everyone. Its another great day here on hive.
The newbie initiative has been fun. Thanks to @hivelearners community and @lazy-panda for the support on hive learners. To our bosses and support on the initiative, @starstrings01 @theycallmedan and other respected personalities, I really appreciate the encouragement. I'll continue to be proud of this initiative.
This is the first task as directed by @starstrings01 and Its all about setting goals for the next three month of the program
Many at times, I'm kind of skeptical about making goals largely due to fear of not hitting the set targets however, life has made me realized goals are necessary for assessment and growth and this does not exclude hive.
If I aim for the moon, at worst, I'll end up among the stars.
Goals are like visions. They are best written down so one can easily run with it.
What are your Hive goals by the End of the Initiative (In 3 months) in terms of Hive Power, followers, comments & engagements, and any other Hive related goals you have in mind?
This is the main weapon of influence on hive. I've really worked on my self since I applied for the initiative I started with 8, I'm currently on 42 And I'm aiming at 350HP by the end of the program. I believe its achievable if I put my mind to it.
I started with 10 followers, I'm currently on 33 and I'm aiming for 100 by the end of the program. I know being followed is really not within my power but then, I can only work harder to get followed
I think I've been taught the power of engagement by my mentors @jaydr and @deraaa and I've really improved recently. I started the program with about 30 comments, I've made more than 200 so far and I'm looking forward to making 1000 meaningful comments after 3 months because I've realized that being engaged with others is key to growth on hive.
I've realized that hive reputation goes a long way in how people will perceive one's post. I joined the Initiative on 47 and I've been able to grow to 52. My aim is to achieve 60 at the end of the program.
How do you plan to achieve them all
This is where the work lies. Its sweet to set goal but achieving it is another task. I'll do everything possible to achieve them all.
Honestly, one can only hope for more of this. I've set all my post reward to be in 100%HP. I'm making efforts to be making at least 4 posts weekly with which I'm aiming to generate 7 to 8HP minimum. This will amount to about 30HP weekly and 120HP monthly and eventually 360HP at the end of three months.
Realistically speaking, gaining followers is not within my power. I've realized that post quality and engagement is what makes people to follow. I'll continue to improve on my posts and hope it attracts followers.
This is the most achievable of my goals. However, I don't know how to make shitty comments just to add numbers. I plan to be making about 10 meaningful and engaging comments daily to be able to meet up with my 1000 goals.
Everything else works together to make this come to reality. Hence, I'll strive to follow my plans for other goals to achieve this goal
talking about challenges always seem like making excuses but really, these are the main obstacles.
WORK
This is the main problem I have.
My senior colleague at the hospital I work with resigned this month. this has actually tripped my work load. Even when I get home after work each day, I'm always too tired to even operate my phone not to talk of making posts. I hope this improves soon from next month.
TIME
I dislike making shit posts and poorly formatted posts. Making quality posts with my current horrible working schedule has been a huge challenge also. But then, I'll continue to strive to stay active in the program and on hive at large.
Hive has really helped me in so many ways. I've been able to benefit from great contents which has improved my exposure. Above all I've crazily improved in my creativity and I'm becoming more expressive daily.
I'll continue to work hard as it can only get better.
Thank you for taking out time read my post. Blessings!!
@projectmamabg ,thanks for the beautiful batch.
