Natural disaster is inevitable when it decides to occur, there are various types of natural disaster which includes typhoon, hurricane, drought, tsunami, thunderstorm, earthquake, floods and many more.
I remember years back when we were affected by a great thunderstorm that pulled out the roof of our house and left us homeless for weeks, it can be more severe to the extent that it can take life, so when natural disaster occurs one is advised to leave immediately, save your life first, that is not the time to start packing your property because it might be dangerous, but are there somethings you can definitely pick, yes it will be time to pick not time to pack.
3 important things i will pick.
Before picking up anything you must be mentally ready, so it advised to be mentally prepared for natural disaster that will help you to be coordinated when natural disaster occurs.
Its also very important to know safe location in the area you leave because that will help you to know where and when to leave home to.
Its also important to have some physical preparation, have a bag where you have some important things like emergency drugs, water ,a change of cloth, let the bag be always ready for pick up.
My Go-bag is always ready for pickup and i have a change of clothes and my drugs, toothbrushes, bathing soap, towels, and toilet paper, i also have Flashlight, radio, spare batteries, First-aid kit and if i have children i also have some children clothes, so if anything happens i will just grab the bag i move.
I also always have some cash in my Go-bag because i know that if natural disaster occurs there will be no time to get any cash.
My phone is always handy and my notebook is always handy to help me reach out to friends who might also be badly involved the natural disaster.
So am picking just two things;
My Go-bag that contains things that are valuable and important like my drugs, water and a change of cloth, mind you its not a traveling bag but a handy bag that i can quickly pick not pack so is just a little of all vital things.
second is my cellphone and charger, yes my go-bag always has a charge power bank to help me stay online for some days.
Its also very important to have enough fuel in your car on daily basis because you never know when natural disaster will occur, always have in mind what to do if any natural disaster occurs like the easiest way to leave home and the safetiest place to run to at that moment.
Remember the way to act depends on the type of natural disaster that happens, if its fire breakout your reaction will be different from when its flood, thats why is very important to have various ways if escaping in mind.
Natural disaster is not easy to deal with and most times it leads to lost of home and even death of our loved ones but when we are prepared and stay in contact with our family and friends we will be able to cope if natural disaster occurs.
