Hello @pinmaple community, today I am going to recommend the best place to enjoy the beach and river in my city, Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela, in this vacation week: "la Cocuyera" beach 📍
This is a view of "the corner of Cocuyera", in Ciudad Bolívar, Venezuela at sunset. At this time of year the Orinoco River is low and a beautiful beach of fine sand stands out where families meet with our children, grandchildren and in this case my great-grandson accompanied us to play away from technological devices. And so I had my chance.
This year the 3 sisters met. There were 4 of us. My older sister lives in the same city as me, but my younger sister lives in Caicara del Orinoco where we are from, she has an apartment here in the city and will spend the whole year here, which is a great joy!
My youngest sister is called Ligia and the eldest is Edilia. They both have more energy than me, they invited me to walk along the Orinoco River on January 1st. .. I thought about it.. you know because of my difficulty walking.. But then I remembered that we are no longer young and I left. When I arrived I was scared but the emotion was greater, I missed my little sister so much!
Ok, I don't want to ruin my post trying to guess where the photo captions are located so I'll write them one by one: Photos 1 and 2 belong to "Puerto Bhlom" which is the name of the station and the stairs that lead to "Playón la Cocuyera"

Photo 7: Bhlom port stop. People arrive there, organize themselves, go down the spied stairs and take a curiara to cross the river and go to their homes and other errands. On the other side is "Ciudad Orinoco", Anzoátegui State, called until recently "solitude" and renamed by its new governor.

Photo 9: another view of the beach. In the distance you can see the 3 crosses that are placed during Holy Week, since taking advantage of the fact that the river is low, the beautiful work "The Christ of the Orinoco" is carried out there. In fact that afternoon they were practicing.
Once the boat was full (thank God there weren't many people) we set off, the fear immediately passed. They gave us life jackets and I was shocked by such beauty, in 47 years of living in this city, it's the first time I've done this! Thank you very much!
