Yesterday, I hosted my second space and I think it went well. There was a total of 73 listeners that tuned in and we talked about play to earn games.
We had four speakers talk about different blockchain games. We talked about how to get started on the game and the general idea behind them.
At the end of the day, I decided to download the Bemil application from playstore. With the help of @dadspardan, I will be getting started in the game.
Bemil is on Binance smart chain and the gameplay is reminiscent of something that already exists. It is somewhat technical but aren't they all.
Something about Axie
I also got to learn a bit about Axie Infinity and the way it works. If you recall, I made an attempt to get started in that game as well but fell short.
I learnt that this is a good time to get started on Axie infinity. This is based on the fact that the entire crypto market has gone to shit.
You can start stacking SLP, AXS and other assets in the game. There are also organisations that facilitate/sponsor you into the game with a profit-sharing arrangement.
On average, the player takes 70% of earning while the company holds 30%. You earn SLP or Axs, I can't remember which one. Both of them are tradable on a lot of exchanges though.
Hodling for the future
We also discussed LVL and one of the speakers discussed what I can only classify as a testimony. Jennifer Navarrette talked about how she bought LVL with just one hive and the value was risen to over $10.
She bought LVL with about 70 cents back then and now the price has risen more than ten folds. That is an incredible situation to be in.
I've been slowly increasing my collection of LVL tokens though. During the Twitter space I talked about how I expect LVL token reach $1 at some point in the future and I still stand by that proclamation.
Psyber X is scheduled to be released around the end of the year, so there will be some calm about the token. I expect the price to drop a little bit, particularly as the developers go back to full work mode.
That calm will hopefully reduce the hype and give people like me and @jongolson the opportunity to stack more LVL tokens. My goal is still to reach the holy grail of 200K tokens
Fight club coming to blockchain?
At the end of the Twitter space, we also had one more speech from an interesting project. The user couldn't give too much away but just like Psyber X, it is a game that is still in development.
On the surface, it looks like something that will be really fun. You can try out the demo of the game if you want.
You will need to connect to the Polygon network before getting started. I will sort out my polygon connection and then give it a go.
Blockchain gaming going places
There has been a lot of talk about how Blockchain games are still in the 90s. Now we're seeing new projects springing up that will push the boundary.
These games have the potential to onboard traditional gamers and bring much-needed entertainment value into the space. I'll be watching the space to seek out more opportunities and share them here.
