Hello my dear friends of Hive and Foodies Bee Hive, this time I bring you a spectacular breakfast that can also be useful as a mid-afternoon snack. It is a kind of pancake with banana and chocolate that is delicious and although it is something apparently common, I got to that result because I had a craving and those ingredients, hehe.

A few days ago I came out of a Yoga class very hungry, and there is a bakery that sells delicious things on my way home. However I thought it would be better to keep going, because once or twice a week, I eat bills from that place and I had just recently bought some, so I decided to go straight home.

The thing is that I arrived and the bills had already been drawn in my mind with shape, color and my mouth already felt the taste, haha, so I had to at least have something tasty for breakfast for my taste, so I managed to overcome the bills that morning.

Hola mis queridos amigos de Hive y de Foodies Bee Hive, en esta oportunidad les traigo un desayuno espectacular que puede ser útil también como media tarde. Se trata de una especie de pancake con banana y chocolate que queda delicioso y aunque sea algo aparentemente común, yo llegué a ese resultado porque tenía un antojo y esos ingredientes, jeje.

Hace unos días salí de una clase de Yoga con muchísimo hambre, y hay una panadería que vende cosas deliciosas de camino a mi casa. Sin embargo pensé que sería mejor seguir de largo, pues una o dos veces por semana, como facturas de ese lugar y hacía poco había comprado, así que decidí ir directo a casa.

El tema es que llegué y las facturas ya se habían dibujado en mi mente con forma, color y mi boca ya sentía el sabor, jaja, así que tenía que al menos desayunar algo sabroso para mi gusto, así lograba superar a las facturas aquella mañana.

At that moment I remembered that I had left some Nesquik, which is a cocoa to make chocolate milk and that I almost don't consume, I had bought it casually a few months ago. So at that moment it occurred to me to make this marvel: a protein pancake with 1 whole egg + 1 extra egg white + a little protein milk + 2 tablespoons of corn flour + 1 banana.

We could say that Maizena shouldn't have been on this list, haha, but hey, I wanted something tasty.

I did the math and this preparation has about 500 calories. For what I usually eat for breakfast, that's quite a lot, so it warrants perhaps a lighter lunch or an extra walk in the afternoon, hehe. But, it is a delight and it not only has protein, but also lipids from the egg, potassium from the banana (excellent for the muscles) and a touch of glucose that although it is not great, it can help to give us a little bit of energy used in a measured way (otherwise, too much glucose can make you tired very quickly).

En ese momento recordé que me había quedado un poco de Nesquik, que es un cacao para hacer leche con chocolate y que casi no consumo, lo había comprado casualmente hace unos meses. Así que en ese momento se me ocurrió hacer esta maravilla: un pancake proteíco con 1 huevo entero + 1 clara de huevo extra + un poco de leche protein + 2 cucharadas de harina de maíz + 1 banana.

Podríamos decir que la Maizena no debería haber estado en esta lista, jaja, pero bueno, quería algo sabrosito.

Saqué la cuenta y esta preparación tiene unas 500 calorías. Para lo que acostumbro a desayunar, es bastante, por lo que amerita quizás un almuerzo más liviano o una caminata extra por la tarde, jeje. Pero, es una delicia y además no solamente tiene proteínas, sino que tiene lípidos del huevo, potasio de la banana (excelente para los músculos) y un toque de glucosa que aunque no es genial, sí que puede ayudar a darnos un golpecito de energía utilizada de manera medida (sino, la glucosa en exceso puede llegar a cansarte muy rápido).

Those are the ingredients and as for the preparation, it is simply to beat the egg first and then add the rest of the ingredients.

What I did was to give the pancake a cooking hit first before adding the sliced banana to make sure that everything was cooked well and that the banana was not burned.

You can add butter or any oil to the pan, it is up to each one's taste.

Esos son los ingredientes y en cuanto a la preparación pues simplemente es batir bien el huevo primero y luego ir agregando el resto de los ingredientes.

Lo que yo hice fue darle un golpe de cocción al pancake primero antes de agregar la banana en rodajas para asegurarme de que se cocinara todo bien y que no se quemara la banana.

Al sartén puedes colocarle manteca o cualquier aceite, queda a gusto de cada uno.

It tasted so good and I was satisfied for so many hours that day, that this became my go-to recipe for when I feel like eating something sweet and I want to take care of my health.
