I was sitting at home not doing much when I got a message from @tysonwaldron who was down on the great ocean road and wondering if I wanted to shoot sunset from a vantage point rarely visited.
I had nothing planned for the afternoon so I jumped in the car and headed down to explore this new area!
It was a bit of a bush bash for a few hundred meters, but when you got to the cliffs you were greeted with a stunning sight of the most iconic attraction on the great ocean road. As we were walking in, I explained to Tyson about Hive and how I had enjoyed it so much compared to other platforms such as Instagram.
The clouds were looking really nice with good potential, but they weren't quite good enough to cover the apostles, so I decided to create a panorama.
This panorama turned out much better than I could have imagined, and it was 100% my favourite image from the night!
This image was taken a little bit beforehand, when the light hadn't started to drift over to the left.
I actually have another comp that would be perfect for a sunrise. I tried it last week which required me to get up at 5am, but got clouded in. Stay tuned for that post which will feature one of my all time favourite images!
Thanks for reading, make sure to go and check out @tysonwaldron's epic work!
