After one week of working as a cleaner, Malik was given 150 thousand rupiah by the shop owner as a reward. Malik spent the money in return for rice and salted fish to eat together at home with his parents, the rest of the money Malik spent on fishing rods. Malik took the initiative to find fish and then sell the results to the market.

Seeing Malik, who is still a child but is already struggling to earn money, his father, who is supposed to earn a living for Malik and his mother, does not have the slightest conscience, he is still lazy and his hobby is gambling. However, Malik remains strong in living his life because there is always support and motivation from his mother.

After finishing dinner with his mother. Malik did not go to sleep right away but made a fishing rod by himself in the yard. Long story short, when the clock showed 5 am, Malik said goodbye to his mother to go fishing to the river on the edge of the forest. After saying goodbye, Malik went alone without fear, but still his heart felt that this world was too harsh. The road is steep and some of Malik's cliffs are carefully traversed, not to mention through the bushes.

The river that Malik is aiming for is a river that is usually crowded with anglers in the afternoon. The river is not only famous for its many big fish, it is also famous for its scenery and clean water. It is located on the edge of a forest filled with so many pine trees and several towering cliffs. During the day the weather in the river is very hot, but it is accompanied by a breeze from the mountains. But in the morning the weather will be very cold.
