Ya hace un año que mi hija comenzó sus clases de teclado, durante todo este tiempo hemos visto avances en su desempeño y desde que empezó el 2024 y cambió de profesores aun más. Este año ha tenido dos profesores, el primero apenas la evaluó me dijo que era una niña con talento y que no debería continuar en el horario donde asistía ya que ese era para los estudiantes que estaban empezando y la cambió a un grupo más avanzado, ella se llevó muy bien con sus compañeras a pesar que es la mas pequeña y eso la ha ayudado a sentirse más motivada. Ahora tiene otro profesor que concuerda con lo anterior, algo que me da mucha alegría.
En la academia realizan varias presentaciones al año ya que tienen varias cátedras como violín, batería, percusión, guitarra eléctrica y acústica, teclado, canto, kinder musical y hasta forman bandas con los estudiantes, un área que disfrutan mucho los jóvenes. A principio de junio se llevó a cabo el primer recital de mi hija durante este año llamado Entre cuerdas y teclas, aquí se presentarían los estudiantes de teclado, guitarra y violín con los de canto y kinder musical.

It has been a year since my daughter started her keyboarding classes, during all this time we have seen progress in her performance and since she started 2024 and changed teachers even more. This year she has had two teachers, the first one as soon as he evaluated her told me that she was a talented child and that she should not continue in the schedule where she was attending since that was for students who were starting and changed her to a more advanced group, she got along very well with her classmates even though she is the youngest and that has helped her to feel more motivated. Now she has another teacher who agrees with the above, something that makes me very happy.
At the academy they perform several times a year since they have several classes such as violin, drums, percussion, electric and acoustic guitar, keyboard, singing, musical kindergarten and they even form bands with the students, an area that the young people enjoy very much. At the beginning of June my daughter’s first recital of the year took place, called Entre cuerdas y teclas (Between Strings and Keys), where the keyboard, guitar and violin students performed together with the singing and kinder musical students.
Cuando mi hija me dijo que le iba a hacer el acompañamiento a un cantante, me emocioné. El hecho que ya tenga las condiciones de acompañar quiere decir que tiene la habilidad para hacerlo. Al principio serian dos canciones con dos cantantes diferentes, pero al final fue una sola de la banda colombiana Morat llamada Mi Vida Entera. En internet no encontraron la partitura para esta canción así que en conjunto con el profesor la sacaron para que ella pudiera ensayar durante el último mes. Además de esa canción también iba a presentar una de música clásica, Sonatine de M. Clementi.
El evento se llevó a cabo el domingo 2 de junio en el establecimiento de La Hamburguesería, un local que queda dentro del parque Raúl Villanueva en Maracay, Venezuela. Este local tiene un lindo teatro donde se vería muy bonito el espectáculo, lo malo es que estamos entrando en temporada de lluvia y era al aire libre. Nosotros llegamos temprano pensando en situarnos cerca del escenario, pero al ver que el cielo estaba lleno de nubes negras preferimos quedarnos debajo de un pequeño techo que rodeaba en local.
When my daughter told me that she was going to accompany a singer, I was thrilled. The fact that she already has the skills to accompany means that she has the ability to do it. At first it was to be two songs with two different singers, but in the end it was just one song by the Colombian band Morat called Mi Vida Entera. On the internet they couldn’t find the sheet music for this song so together with the teacher they took it out so she could rehearse it during the last month. In addition to that song she was also going to perform a classical song, Sonatine by M. Clementi.
The event took place on Sunday, June 2 at La Hamburguesería, a place located inside the Raúl Villanueva Park in Maracay, Venezuela. This place has a nice theater where the show would look very nice, the bad thing is that we are entering the rainy season and it was outdoors. We arrived early thinking we would be near the stage, but when we saw that the sky was full of black clouds we preferred to stay under a small roof that surrounded the venue.
La hora pautada para dar inicio eran las 3 pm pero tomando en cuanta que la coordinación no sabía dónde armar el sonido si adentro o afuera, por el mismo tema de la lluvia, todo se retrasó. Aunque al final decidieron armar el sonido donde ya tenían dispuesto. Todas las personas iban llegando y lo que hacían era ver el cielo, pero me imagino que todos estaban rezando para que no lloviera, porque solo cayó una llovizna y la brisa se llevó las nubes.
De esta manera aproximadamente a las 4 de la tarde empezó el evento, dando inicio con los niños más pequeños, cuando Andrea le tocó su primera canción con el cantante todavía era de día y tuvimos que quedarnos hasta que la volvieran a nombrar para la segunda canción, que ya fue cuando estaba oscureciendo. Además de todas las presentaciones que de verdad fueron muchas, habían chicos que se presentaron hasta cuatro veces, porque son estudiantes de canto y de guitarra y está catedra era la que más presentaciones tenía. También hicieron una presentación todos los estudiantes casi terminado el evento, donde cantaron la canción Bendita Madre de Servando y Florentino dedicada a las madres. Sabemos que ya mayo se había terminado y era junio, pero como no habían podido hacer nada antes pues ensayaron esa canción en regalo para nosotras las mamás, además nos regalaron una rosa roja, muy linda.
The scheduled start time was 3 pm but taking into account that the coordination did not know where to set up the sound if inside or outside, due to the same issue of rain, everything was delayed. Although in the end they decided to set up the sound where they had already arranged. All the people were arriving and what they were doing was watching the sky, but I imagine that everyone was praying that it would not rain, because only a drizzle fell and the breeze blew the clouds away.
So at approximately 4 o’clock in the afternoon the event began, starting with the youngest children, when Andrea had her first song with the singer it was still daylight and we had to stay until they called her name again for the second song, which was already when it was getting dark. In addition to all the presentations that were really many, there were kids who performed up to four times, because they are singing and guitar students and this class was the one that had the most presentations. There was also a presentation by all the students almost at the end of the event, where they sang the song Bendita Madre by Servando y Florentino dedicated to mothers. We know that May was already over and it was June, but since they had not been able to do anything before, they rehearsed that song as a gift for us mothers, and they also gave us a very nice red rose.
Nosotros tuvimos que irnos antes de que culminará porque eran las 8:30 pm, era domingo y vivimos lejos. Lo bueno es que el obsequio y el certificado se lo iban entregando al culminar cada set y como Andrea había salido en el primero pues se lo entregaron temprano, así haya tenido que esperar para tocar la segunda canción. Lo que no se puede negar es que había mucho talento, en esos niños, adolescentes y jóvenes dedicados a este arte maravilloso, por lo que pasamos toda una tarde deleitándonos con sus talentos y contentos y orgullosos de nuestra niña.
We had to leave before the end because it was 8:30 pm, it was Sunday and we live far away. The good thing is that the gift and the certificate were handed out at the end of each set and since Andrea had performed in the first one, they gave it to her early, even though she had to wait to play the second song. What can not be denied is that there was a lot of talent in these children, teenagers and young people dedicated to this wonderful art, so we spent a whole afternoon delighting us with their talents and happy and proud of our girl.
