This is my contribution to #fungfriday by @ewkaw
hello friends that I love all!! Morning meeting with me @biancamaura this time I will show you some pictures of my hunt at the end of the dry season
What I've been waiting for has finally arrived!! It's not hope or him who has been lost for a long time😁😁 this is the end of the dry season that I have been waiting for several weeks.
Entering the rainy season like this is very profitable for me, especially for mushroom hunting
This time I came to an oil palm plantation which is not far from my house. This is my favorite place to hunt for mushrooms. The day after it rained, one of my friends and I started exploring this plantation. Here I found a piece of dead wood where the mushrooms grew. This. This is not the fungus Infundibulicybe gibba and Pleurotus ostreatus they are almost the same in terms of shape but if you look closely these mushrooms are very different starting from the shape of the fruit body, color and side fins. For almost two hours I searched for the name of this mushroom on Google search, but what came out of my search results were these two names, until I made this post I didn't know the scientific name of this mushroom, I asked friends who saw my post and knew scientific name of this mushroom please tell me in the comments column.
The characteristics of this mushroom are as follows: this mushroom is yellowish white, funnel-shaped on the edge of the fruit body or umbrella, bright black, while the color of oyster mushrooms is bright white, the texture of this mushroom is hard, not the same as oyster mushrooms, which have a soft texture, the fins or gils are very smooth. and not straight, almost like human hair, this part of the fin is also very different from oyster mushrooms, while oyster mushroom fins are a little thicker and neater. From these characteristics, I can say that this is not an oyster mushroom.
