Towards the end of 2024, I unintentionally started a journey I've been on for the past five weeks.
I stopped using marijuana!
Yeah...
I didn't have a reason to stop, I just kinda stopped... 🤷🏾♂️
I still have plenty of weed here, all of my dry herb vapes, grinders, and torches, I just haven't had the urge to use them and I want to keep my streak going.
I still open up my grinders and stash sometimes and give everything a good sniff and I've noticed that the weed actually smells better or more earthier to me now that I haven't been using it...
But other than that, my honest assessment of not using marijuana is that not using is an overrated experience...
It may be because I was never a heavy user to begin with but I haven't noticed any mind-blowing changes since I've stopped using over the past month.
Music isn't as cool and fruit isn't as sweet as it is when I've taken a hit from my vape but that's about it.
If don't overuse or abuse the herbs I'd say don't be a quitter like me. but that's just my opinion...
If you get something from your use of the herb, as I felt I did, continue to do your thing. Don't listen to the anti-weed FUD.
But with that said, I think I'm going to keep my nonuse streak going. I've made it this far and maybe something groundbreaking will happen down the line if I keep it up.
Only time will tell...
But no plans on obtaining a medical marijuana card in sight and just being stubborn about not using could be seen as a "positive" thing by a lot of people but it's really subjective...
I feel a lot of the negative and positive effects depend on the person, what they're looking to get from the herb, and how they use it...
But live your life playa and always do what's best for you! ✌🏾
