Hello everyone. I continue to share with you the places I visited in Istanbul. I wanted to visit Topkapi Palace when I first came to Istanbul. However, I had to postpone this trip because of the long queue. Recently, a friend of mine from my hometown came to visit me. We visited many places with him. One of these places is Topkapi Palace.
Herkese merhaba. İstanbul'da gezdiğim yerleri sizlerle paylaşmaya devam ediyorum. Topkapı sarayını İstanbul'a ilk geldiğim zamanlarda ziyaret etmek istemiştim. Ancak sıra çok olduğu için bu geziyi ertelemek zorunda kalmıştım. Yakın zamanda memleketten samimi olduğum bir arkadaşım ziyaretime geldi. Kendisiyle bir çok yeri gezdik. Bu yerlerden birisi de Topkapı Sarayı.
After meeting my friend, we had breakfast and then took the ferry to Eminönü. After hanging around here for a while, we went to Hagia Sophia on foot. I had made a post about Hagia Sophia before. In addition, we wanted to visit the Hagia Sophia museum, but unfortunately we canceled it because the tickets were expensive. After visiting Hagia Sophia, we headed to Topkapı palace. We waited in line for about half an hour because it was very crowded.
Arkadaşla buluştuktan sonra kahvaltı yaptık ardından vapurla Eminönü'ne geçtik. Buralarda bir müddet takıldıktan sonra yürüyerek Ayasofya'ya gittik. Ayasofya ile ilgili daha önce bir paylaşım yapmıştım. Ek olarak Ayasofya müzesini gezmek istedik ancak biletler pahalı olduğu için maalesef iptal ettik. Ayasofya'da gezdikten sonra Topkapı sarayına yöneldik. Çok fazla kalabalık olduğu için yaklaşık yarım saat sırada bekledik.
As soon as we entered, we saw a wonderful garden. It really lives up to its name. Honestly, I didn't know that this palace was so big. We didn't visit many places because the weather was hot. We entered with the museum card, but some places, especially the harem, were paid, so we did not include them in the tour. If it was a little cheaper, we would definitely visit. Honestly, I can say that I was left inside.
İçeriye girer girmez harika bir bahçeyle karşılaştık. İsminin hakkını gerçekten veriyor. Açıkçası bu sarayın bu kadar büyük olduğunu bilmiyordum. Hava sıcak olduğu için bir çok yeri de gezmedik. Müze kartıyla giriş yaptık ancak bazı yerler özellikle harem ücretli olduğu için geziye dahil etmedik. Biraz ucuz olsaydı kesinlikle ziyaret ederdik. Açıkçası içimde kaldı diyebilirim.
We spent about 20 minutes on the balcony overlooking the Bosphorus, one of the most favorite places in the palace. We both rested and enjoyed the view. In my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful places in Istanbul where you can see the Bosphorus view. It is impossible not to be mesmerized by the deep blue sea. I can visit again just to see this view again. 😄
Sarayın en gözde yerlerinden birisi olan boğaz manzaralı balkonda yaklaşık 20 dakika vakit geçirdik. Hem dinlendik hem de manzarayı keyifle izledik. Kanaatimce İstanbul'da boğaz manzarasını görebileceğiniz en güzel yerlerden birisi. Masmavi denizin büyüsüne kapılmamak elde değil. Sırf bu manzarayı tekrardan görmek için tekrar ziyaret edebilirim. 😄
One of the features of the palace that attracts my attention is that everything was built with care. The defect is almost zero. I recommend everyone who is interested in history to visit. Besides, everything is tidy. It is also worth appreciating the visitors at this point. I didn't see a single piece of garbage around. I wish all historical buildings were like this.
Sarayın dikkatimi çeken özelliklerinden biriside her şey özenle inşa edilmiş. Kusur neredeyse sıfır. Tarihe ilgisi olan herkese ziyaret etmelerini tavsiye ederim. Bunun yanında her şey derli toplu. Ziyaretçileri de bu noktada takdir etmekte fayda var. Etrafta bir tane bile çöp görmedim. Keşke bütün tarihi yapılar bu şekilde olsa..
As I was leaving the palace, I noticed a parrot in the hollow of a tree, calmly watching the surroundings. I think he's very lucky. He watches this wonderful place every day. I am a little jealous of the parrot. 😄
Saraydan ayrılırken ağacın kovuğunda etrafı izleyen bir papağan fark ettim. Sakin bir şekilde etrafı izliyordu. Bence çok şanslı. Bu harika yeri her gün izliyor. Papağanı biraz kıskanmadım değil. 😄
In general, this is what I remember. If you want to visit this place, I recommend you to spend at least 3-4 hours or even a day. We did this in about 2 hours. I forgot to take photos of most places 😄
In terms of location, it is located at a point where you can easily reach. You can also visit Gülhane park, archeology museum, Hagia Sophia which are located nearby. Of course if there is time left from Topkapi palace. 😅

Genel olarak benim aklımda kalanlar bunlar. Eğer burayı ziyaret etmek isterseniz en az 3-4 saatini hatta bir gününüzü ayırmanızı tavsiye ederim. Bu anlattıklatımı yaklaşık 2 saatte gerçekleştirdik. Ki çoğu yerin fotoğrafını çekmeyi unutmuşum. 😄
Konum olarak, rahatlıkla ulaşabileceğiniz bir noktada bulunuyor. Ayrıca yakın yerlerde konumlanan Gülhane parkını, arkeoloji müzesini, Ayasofya'yı da gezebilirsiniz. Tâbi Topkapı sarayından vakit kalırsa. 😅
