Beautiful and edible wood mushroom

Czechs are a nation of mushroom pickers, but until the internet and various "facebooks" so many species were overlooked. Although everyone has one or more mushroom atlases at home, with the internet some previously uncollected species have become popular.
For example, such Crab-of-the-woods Laetiporus sulphureus which is basically a "polypore" growing on stumps or trees and these as "everyone knows" are inedible.
In this case it is different and the young fruits are very tasty. Myself I, for example, made a mushroom risotto out of it this September and it was delicious. The number of kitchen adaptations is of course endless.
Well, that's the problem. Increased popularity and also a lot of people on bikes and tourists in general (or cottagers in the Czech Republic) has caused that I often find a mushroom on a stump cut.

No a to je ten problém.

Most of my observations are from South Bohemia, but this particular find is from Tachov in West Bohemia.

They also grow in Prague's parks, and there are also infested trees. Park maintenance cuts down only those that threaten the surroundings.

Interesting mushroom species, the last mushroom in my opinion is quite beautiful, the color is beautiful and the structure also seems unique, it seems that the surface of the mushroom is very soft

Young Is very soft .

nice display of mushrooms that my friend displayed..

the mushrooms look very big, they grow on a rotting tree trunk, I'm interested in your first mushroom, the shape is very interesting in layers, looks very soft

Young Is very soft and that is thé edible part.

We see a lot of them growing in our village too. Especially we see a lot of spruce trees in high places.

Wow what a stash of chicken. That would make quite a few meals.

Wow, this is cool, unique and very entertaining.

Good morning dear friend @birdwatcher how are you?
How great to know that you have cooked a mushroom risotto and that it turned out delicious.
What a beautiful variety of mushrooms you have found, dear friend, I love their shape, texture and combination of colors.
I appreciate you sharing this excellent find.
have a beautiful morning

I am fine, we have a state holyday. Thank you and have a nice weekend.

That's great, enjoy the holiday. and the long weekend

A beautiful pile of mushrooms, and they look ravishing. Unfortunately, these mushrooms are not edible :)

This species Is delicious and 100% safe edible

Ohh apparently it can be eaten. So I'm curious about the texture :)

the appearance of the first mushroom is very good with the blooming character and also the color combination.

This mushroom looks very delicious.. thank you for sharing

Wow.. The beautiful mushrooms that you display, I was very interested in the texture of the mushrooms that you found very soft. This feels like another I've never seen.

Wood mushrooms, which are very large in size and grow very well, seem very delicious when cooked with instant noodles.
