Best Proof Of Stake Tokens For 2024

in #hive-1679222 months ago

As part of a revamp I'm doing in my own portfolio I figured I would also blog about it. This is mainly because Hive/InLeo have been a wealth of information and there's a lot of truly smart people on the platform that have helped me when I was first starting with DeFi and also within new projects and programs.

For right now I'm going to start up by focusing on three to five proof of stake tokens to start expanding. These are my own personal picks but I'd love to hear you own opinions and other projects you're enjoying in the proof of stake system.

Polygon (POL)

Polygon is sitting at rather low levels at the moment. It normally hovers around $0.75 when doing well so at these prices and the recent change with the entire blockchain it feels like this one could be a good play.

I'm also doing this one because I actully have a decent amount of POL that has been earned from places like RollerCoin and Chainers yep these two easy game style platforms are actully generating a sizeable amount of POL for me at the moment which I'd love to start putting to work via staking rewards.

Hive

Now of course I'm going to add hive in here as a bonus. That's mainly because Hive has been one of my go to platforms for 7 years now. I pretty much blog daily and now thread daily and also play games, defi etc I do it all here on hive and I'm looking to expand that more into node operations and also launching my own token.

Ethereum

I have a bunch of Ethereum from when I bought it many years ago at an average of just $13. While I have taken profits for sure I'd like to put what I have remaining into a node and start running it to generate passive income in Ethereum. While the rates low I still feel like it should be well worth it as we continue to move forward.

Polkadot

Man this tokens been around for a while and what's funny is I've pretty much been sitting on it only to realize recently it's a proof of stake token with a rather large APR on it of around 11%. I'd like to get this node up and running for staking rewards as well.

Avalanche

AVA has had some promise in terms of it's price point and feels like a solid project. It also supports a roughly 4%-5% APR on it which seems solid in todays landscape.

So there you have it 5 core focus areas I'll be working on for the rest of the year. I'll most likely be expanding this into smaller options as well but that will be for another time. For now I want to get these massive cores up and running to produce revenue and building the wealth.

Let me know your thoughts and drop me some ideas of large or small projects in which you're running nodes, staking or thinking about.

I tried Rollercoin for a while and didn't earn anything damn.

It takes a lot lol Just playing games really wont get you anywhere. I pretty much ran those videos in the background while working to earn some RTL which then started to really ramp up operations there. It's for sure nothing crazy though just a few bucks a day in POL but enough over the last two years or so that I can put it to some good work.

Ye alright.
So 2 years of work F2P, also a long time for a few bucks! :D

I have only Hive and a tiny bit of Avalanche. Eth, Polygon have been disappointing and DOT I thought was already dead! I cant see that chart coming back to life!

It does seem like most alts have been rather disappointing however that can also be the time to really get involved before a potential break out and alt coin season. Dot for sure is a weird one lol I thought that thing was dead long ago but it's still kicking.

I have an acquaintance balls deep in DOT, he would be pleased with your words...

POL I've been holding for a long time as well, I'm hoping for a much brighter future on prices. ETH I haven't changed anything in a long time, you got in early at a great price, congrats. Smart to take profits along the way. I haven't done anything with my DOT, just sitting there although it's not a huge amount anyway, same with Avalanche.

I think you would do well with a couple of nodes, not sure how expensive they are to set up but passive income is hard to turn down.
