We have no reached the end of the last 16 and with the quarter finals approaching there are only 7 games left in the competition so we are drawing closer to a conclusion. Still all to play for however as there is a prize for having the highest score in the knockout stages if you were one of the stragglers that came late to the contest.
Last night we saw only the 4th away win of the tournament last night with the underdogs Turkey overcoming Austra which gave people who selected them a whooping 3 points. This means the league table is after changing a good bit since yesterday. Let us have a look at the standings after the last 16 as we make out way into the quarter finals

Spain versus Germany
England versus Switzerland
France versus Portugal
Netherlands versus Turkey

So I want each of you to give me your prediction AND whether it will happen in normal time , AET or penalties.
So for example if you select Spain to win in 90 minutes and it goes to extra time then you get 0 points.
If you select Germany to win on penalties and it goes to penalties and Germany get the win then you will be awarded 6 points.
Anyone that just replies " Spain win" will automatically be given the "Win in 90 minutes" category so if it goes over normal time then it will be 0 points if Spain win. Got it? Any questions? I will be sending another post tomorrow with the Round 2 results.
