I saw two planets not far from each other. One of the planets has living beings while the other does not. I saw a gallant young lady standing by an ancient, large window on a rock, holding her hands tightly to the window with bright light shining all around from unknown source. Around the big window, I see a big mountain with different shapes of rocks, and behind it is part of the rocky area and an ocean on the right side with the other planet appearing in global form.
What I perceive from the image is an illustration that amidst darkness, light must shine for those who desire it, with light at the top and darkness beneath. Secondly, I feel that light can shine everywhere simultaneously, while darkness cannot completely cover the earth. The dark area symbolizes old nature and life, while the light symbolizes natural modernization and new beginnings. I sense that there will soon be the appearance of a solar eclipse.
My Story
AN ENCOUNTER WITH THE AFTERLIFE
This picture reminded me of an incident I experienced 15 years ago, right after my university graduation. I returned home to celebrate with my parents and siblings. It was a strange and unforgettable event, as fresh in my mind as if it happened yesterday.
After dinner, I went into my room to rest for a while. Suddenly, I fell asleep and found myself airborne, heading towards an unknown destination. As I tried to descend, I felt a force stronger than me carrying me. Eventually, a boat appeared at the boundary between two beautiful cities, one city shining brighter than the other.
The force propelled me into the boat, and as I stood, I found myself questioning, "Where am I? Where am I going? What is this boat for?" Although I sensed the presence of people around me, I couldn't quite see them. I attempted to feel fear, but then I heard, "Observation, determination, wish, and courage are the keys." Glancing at myself, I noticed that although I stood in the boat, my feet didn't touch it. Despite trying to touch any part of the boat or even my own face, I couldn't. I exclaimed, "No, it's not possible! I'm too young to die!" Suddenly, the boat dispersed, and I found myself standing at the boundary of the cities. Trying to touch my leg, I realized I couldn't feel any part of my body. Then, I began to hear welcoming songs from the larger city. One of my feet moved towards the source of the music, but I protested, "My ears can't hear the music of the spirit!" Instantly, a force returned me to my original position before the sound of the music.
In my state of confusion, I asked, "God, where am I?" Immediately, the full moon appeared, casting a great light, and I could see the exact image of myself lying on my bed with my younger sister beside me. It dawned on me that I was truly dead, and I exclaimed, "My spirit must return to my body in Jesus' name."
Suddenly, I found myself standing in front of the compound adjacent to our house, this time with my leg touching the ground. I attempted to touch the tree nearby but couldn't, and I realized my hands couldn't grasp any object, while my legs felt too heavy to move. Surprisingly, I could discern the time without a clock, landing on our street at 2:00 am.
As I struggled to walk towards our gate, I soliloquize, pondering how I would knock since I couldn't touch anything. A voice whispered, "Get there first." It took me about 1 hour and 30 minutes to cover what should have been less than a minute's walk. As I approached the gate, it opened on its own, but lifting my leg over the gate lock took another 30 minutes. The journey from the compound to my room took an hour.
Upon entering my room, I saw a double of myself. As I touched my body, I woke up and leaped out of bed, immediately checking my feet and face. The first words out of my mouth were, "Thank you, God! So, I am alive in the land of the living. Is this how people sleep and don't wake up?" My younger sister asked if I was alright, to which I replied with a smile, "Chioma, it's a long story that the whole family will hear later."
