After a long year of non-stop working on our family business, and a stressful start to my college year, we finally got a chance to take a break as a family. This is a family tradition that we always do after Christmas. We only have a day to spend, so we must make sure to enjoy every minute of our trip.
We heard that there is a newly opened resort in Bacolod city. We saw a Facebook post of John Go Everywhere PH where he promotes the resort.
According to him, the resort offers the following:

You can visit the facebook page of Splash Park Bacolod and inquire for further informations.
That day, we arrive early at splash park but we were not informed that their opening time is 12 pm. So, we decided to go to other places like as Shoe Mart and Baywalk and wait until 12 pm. After 4 hours, we finally decided to come back to splash park. When we arrive there are already people at the entrance. It was cloudy that day, the sun didn't show up, and it was slightly dark.
There is a building in front of the resort, I think it is a Hotel or something.
Before we enter the resort we buy our tickets. At that time, a ticket costs only 300 pesos per person because there is a promo. The original ticket price is 700 pesos, a little expensive right? haha. For me, the price is reasonable because the resort offers a lot of things and it is really beautiful.
After 5 minutes of waiting, we finally got our tickets!
The entrance has guards that check the baggage of every person. A lot of things are not allowed inside and there are many rules to follow once you enter. You can check the Facebook post of Splash Park Bacolod to see all of the things that you need to know before you go in there.
Here's the map of the whole Splash Park. It is so wide!
You can see various colors of roses in the field. These thousand roses are so beautiful, but it is more beautiful when it is already dark because those roses glow every night. We didn't get the chance to see those roses glow because we don't have enough time.
When we enter the water park, I immediately took photos of the area while there are still only a few people around. I was not disappointed on what I saw.
The first things that we find are the cottages or the nooks.
Every cottage is lovely!
We didn't get any cottages at that time because it was all reserved.
Swimming time! This is the first thing that you'll see inside, the first pool and it has four slides in it! I got excited when I see those slides, especially that funnel-looking slide because it was my first time trying that kind of slide.
This spot is perfect for relaxation while you are in a shallow pool.
The lousy river is fun and relaxing at the same time. In there, you will be riding a huge floater and the river's flowing water will take you around. The water flows slowly so it will take some time for you to finish the ride.
Finally, I decided to try the funnel water slide. There was a guy who will assist you on the slide, he will tell you the proper way to slide. Though, he will push you a little bit hard sometimes haha, I know that it was for the thrill and it is still safe to do that but I was a little bit scared when he does that haha. It was a fun experience and I really enjoy it.
This is the view at the top of the slide tower. Here, you can see the beautiful view of the whole water park, you can also see the other parts of the splash park when you turn around. We enjoy the rest of the day and made a memorable family trip to splash park.
