Here's my 14th Splinterlands Guild Brawl Report for PIZZA 2 The Deep Dish. I've joined the Pizza 2 Guild over at the PIZZA DISCORD and was introduced to the world of Guild Brawls in Splinterlands. It has been an interesting experience to say the least. 🎉🥳🎊
Guild Brawls are generally the same as Battles, but with some minor tweaks (of which I'll save for another day). Lets get right down to business as I analyze my brawls.
Once again, I entered myself into the Chaos Legion Bronze fray this week, as I've been doing so for the past few weeks.
Wary of ever accidentally missing the frays or rushing at the last minute again, I once again completed all my matches early.
With that said, lets get down to a review of my battles, or in some cases where my opponent fled - non battles 😨.

WON.
It was a really similar matchup despite the difference in summoner choice. Both of us were using all Death cards with Cursed Windeku as the main tank.
However, I would say that my Gladius card Whistling Damon won the game singlehandedly. His snipe ability easily took out both the opponent's magic and ranged DPS whilst getting stronger with every kill courtesy of the bloodlust ability.
There was no danger of losing once that happened.
LOST.
The opponent's strategy of splitting my my attacks with his Taunt Mycelic Slipspawn, combined with the double healer setup healing both Main Tanks and Taunt Tanks, were too much for my team to handle.
I made a mistake by expecting a physical team opponent too. A magic team basically countered me and I deservedly lost.
WON.
The opponent FLED! 🏃🏻🏃🏻🏃🏻 Yay? I guess. A win is a win - no matter how it comes about.

It was a similar lineup and truth be told, I expected to win this. Especially since my Chimney Wallstop got a kill first and had it's bloodlust activated earlier than the opponent's
However, the sequence of attacks resulted in the opponent having an enraged Gladius character being super charged and knocking mine out with 1 shot. Had the opponent gone first instead of me, it would have been a reverse of the situation.
This was a really close fight indeed.
LOST.
Queen Mycelia won it for the opponent. That was all there was to it. The armor buff she provided prevented my Whistling Damon from sniping all of the opponent's units instantly and powering up to become a massive giant.
This perfectly showcases Queen Mycelia's ranking as one of the the most expensive Chaos Legion cards.

I finished with a win-loss ratio of 3 wins and 3 losses. This was actually quite a terrible performance from me this week. 2 of my wins were even because my opponents fled 😰
I would say that at least 2 of my losses were EXTREMELY close fights that could have swung either way depending on RNG though. So on the back of such randomness, I don't think I made any major errors. This is wasn't my day I guess. 😭
Overall, I'm slightly dissatisfied with this week's results. Even with an overall ratio of 50%, I'd consider it under performing. Hopefully I can improve on the next brawl. ☹️

PIZZA 2 Guild managed to finish in 3rd place! 🏆🏆🏆
I would say it's still a good result being able to finish on the top 3 podium. The 2nd place guild was also quite ahead of us with 5 wins, so it wasn't something that we'd just missed.
However, I noticed that the top 2 placing teams played 13 games each more than us. This shows that quite a few frays have been left unfilled 😨. I think we can work on improving this area of PIZZA 2. We've been having constant weeks of unfilled frays now. The last week where we managed to fill up nearly all the frays resulted in a first place finish. We definitely have the ability to do much better.
