Let's go on another virtual adventure today as I tour you around the majectic mountains of La Trinidad in Benguet. Well, I am sharing this as my cousin was messaging me a little while ago, asking me if we could go on a day tour to La Trinidad. I told her, It's not possible at this time until my daughter's recognition day is finished. I'd love to go and La Trinidad is one of my go-to places when I want to just take a breather. Today, I'd be happy to share my adventure from my last visit to La Trinidad a few months ago.
So, this was actually a typical family day tour, and we were all geared up to conquer La Trinidad and visit Mount Kallugong. But guess what? Fate had other plans for us! We ended up at the Rocky Mountain Adventure area, a real hidden gem just waiting to be explored. As we trudged along the rough terrain, the misty fog rolled in, wrapping us in a cloak of mystery and thrill. It was like stepping into a whole new world of excitement and wonder! When you start your trek from the jump-off point on Kalugong Road, it's a leisurely stroll that might take you around 30 minutes or less, depending on how fast or slow you go. Once you reach the end of the road, you'll spot three signs waiting to guide you. There's one pointing towards the Mt. Kalugong Cultural Village, another towards the Tayawan View Deck, and the third one leading you to the exciting Rocky Mountain Adventure. Just follow the path to the right, and it will lead you straight to the registration area for your Rocky Mountain Adventure experience. Easy peasy!
When we finally made it to the top, it was like stepping into a postcard picture come to life. The whole landscape of La Trinidad sprawled out before us, a sea of greenery that seemed to go on forever. The fog twirled and danced over the mountains, giving the whole scene a magical, fairytale vibe. As we wandered around, we stumbled upon a treasure trove of surprises of green pine trees peeking through the mist keeping us on our toes. Every twist and turn revealed a treat for our senses. But the cherry on top of our adventure sundae? The view, no doubt about it. Standing on that edge, wind tousling our hair, and the world laid out at our feet, we couldn't help but be overwhelmed with gratitude for the beauty that surrounded us. It was a moment of pure joy, shared with the ones who mean the most to us.
I've tossed in a couple of photos from our little adventure, trying to capture the magic of La Trinidad in all its glory. Those snapshots really tell the story, painting a vivid picture of our escapade in the midst of nature's splendor. And you know what? That unexpected twist of our day tour turned out to be a real blessing in disguise. It taught us to roll with the punches, to embrace the unexpected, and to savor every single moment of our journey. La Trinidad, with all its mystical charm and jaw-dropping views, has carved out a special spot in our hearts that's here to stay.
