Peekaboo! Happy Hump Day, amazing people!

Yesterday was quite a tough day, but it actually brought a smile to my face because my yard plants finally got a taste of some much-needed rain. These little green buddies of mine have been craving a good drink for what feels like forever. As I looked out at my garden, I noticed one of my bloodleaf plants starting to heal and sprout new leaves. It was a pleasant surprise because I had feared it wouldn't make it through the harsh dry spell and humid weather we've been having. The sight of that resilient bloodleaf plant reminded me of the ones I encountered during our stroll at the eerie Diplomat Hotel in Baguio City a few months ago. It was during our family day tour of the city that we explored the abandoned hotel grounds. The memory of those bloodleaf plants, thriving amidst the haunting beauty of the hotel, stayed with me, a vivid reminder of nature's ability to persevere even in the most unexpected places.

I've written a few blogs about this hotel in my previous posts, but today I am going to highlight more about its garden. Alright! so, let's cut to the chase and transport you right back to that spot, where I'll guide you through its mysterious yet tranquil garden.

It was one cold weekend when my family decided to take a trip to the mountains and we started traveling around dawn to catch the sunrise when we got to our destination. It's an hour and a half drive from our house. The moment we stepped foot in the said abandoned hotel, it gave me a chilly vibe, yet I was excited to wander around. As we wandered along the lush garden paths, I found myself completely drawn in by the enchanting beauty of the bloodleaf plants that graced the surroundings. Their vivid colors breathed life into the peaceful setting, turning each step into a joyous discovery. The garden's calm and serene atmosphere stood in stark contrast to the imposing presence of the aging Diplomat Hotel in the background. While I gazed at the weathered structure, a tingling sensation crept down my spine, adding an exciting edge to the already mysterious ambiance of the place. Despite the cool breeze that lingered in the air, the garden emanated a profound sense of tranquility and harmony. The only sounds that accompanied our footsteps were the gentle rustle of leaves and the distant melodies of chirping birds, creating a symphony of nature that wrapped around us like a comforting embrace.

Venturing into the garden of the abandoned and haunted hotel was a truly extraordinary and unique experience that left me in awe. The air was thick with mystery and a sense of the unknown, adding an adventurous twist to our walk. Despite the haunting aura that surrounded the place, there was a strange allure that drew me in, making it a standout among my recent explorations. As I reflect on that chilling yet captivating stroll, I find myself eagerly anticipating more eerie adventures in the future, eager to uncover the secrets and stories hidden within each mysterious path I tread.

Until our next walk, my friends. Thank you for stopping by!
