Hello! This post is for the entry of this week's Battle Mage Secrets, Super Sneak. Super Sneak is a ruleset that gives Sneak ability, which allows melee units to target and attack the back unit. For this post, we have a battle that has almost the same units, but the game was determined by a small mistake from the opponent.
Super Sneak
All melee units gain the Sneak ability.
There is not much to say in Super Sneak ruleset, because all melee units are just getting the Sneak ability. This allows heavy melee attackers like Mantaroth or Grund to attack from any position, allowing a more aggressive lineup. To counter that, you can use units with Thorns, Demoralize, Shield, Retaliate abilities at the back of your unit.
Battle Info
Rank: Modern Bronze
Avaliable Type: Earth
Mana: 16
Explosive Weaponry: All units gain the Blast ability.
Super Sneak: All melee units gain the Sneak ability.
Up to Eleven: All units have the Amplify ability.
In this battle, you only have 16 mana and Earth available, and all units gain Blast, Sneak and Amplify ability. You don't have a lot to work with 16 mana, so that could be a problem. The Sneak would not be utilized much, because if you place multiple units, it would be damaged by blast damage.
My Lineup
Summoner: Lobb Lowland. For the Summoner, I picked Lobb Lowland. It gives -1 speed and allows a gladiator unit in battle. The ability is not that much good, but the one 'powerful' gladiator in Earth makes this summoner a little bit better than the other gladiator summoners.
First position: Quora Towershead. Quora is one of the best low mana Earth combos like Llama + Kron. Although it is not as much as powerful as Llama, it could be powerful combined with some Martyrs.
Battle Link: HERE
Round 1
The enemy monsters were revealed and they also went with Quora (level 2) and a Fiend at the back. I was very interested in this battle when I first saw it because it seemed like I had to depend on luck to.
After the enemy's Quora attacked, my Quora attacked back, and the blast damage was able to take down their Fiend, giving my Quora Bloodlust ability and potentially winning this game.
Round 2
My Quora kept on attacking with 1 more melee and magic attack than theirs, allowing mine to be on the advantage.
Round 3
Only 6 health left, and Quora had a total of 6 attack, so it is GG!
Thoughts about this battle
The extra fiend actually lost the game for them, and I also had a similar game like this where I put the low cost units at the front during Quora vs Quora battles and lost.
Thanks!
Thanks to all the people that read this post!
