It's been such a beautiful summer that it still won't go away. It's the end of September, the last weekend of September, and a gorgeous, mid-summer day with a surprising 32 degrees Celsius.
However, that's not what makes this day special. Not the sun, not the heat outside, just what will happen...
What's to come will be a... flood!
I mean we are warned that a flood is coming. The bright blue sky begins to be conquered by the army of clouds. Phone alerts come in, threatening rainfall of more than 100 liters per square meter.
Still, it was a beautiful Sunday and I wanted it to stay that way, not turn into something ugly and dangerous. On the other hand, I knew I couldn't fight nature and weather forecasts are getting more accurate lately.
Maybe the rain won't start at the announced time but it will surely come... and I only wished for a beautiful and sublime Sunday!
Well, waiting for the floods to come I will make a sublime Sunday out of memories. Memories are fresh because it's only three weeks since we were still by the seashore.
We're too old to go sunbathing anymore and it's not necessarily because we're so unpleasant to look at, but more because our health doesn't allow us to sunbathe anymore.
All that remains is the joy of observing the beach and the people who enjoy it.
I most enjoy undeveloped beaches that are accessible to everyone.
Where I like the sea there are not many beaches but there are many people who want to sunbathe and swim in and because of that they use every little place that allows that.
Balchik is a small town on the Black Sea...
Everyone has a great time, including those who prefer beachside comforts.
Those who don't sunbathe walk and watch...
... and the terraces are always a must.
It was an imaginary Sunday, inspired by photos from the sea and superimposed on a real one, when we were waiting for the rain. It was evening and the deluge had not happened yet, maybe it was postponed for tonight or tomorrow.
I don't know and I don't care anymore.
I've already had my sublime Sunday!
And that reminded me of #SublimeSunday by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday by @ace108.
I rely mostly on photos in all my blogs. Words don't help me as much as photos. A wise saying goes that a photograph is worth a thousand words.
I don't think so.
It depends on the viewer.
