There is always something new, something fun and something surprising everytime we travel to new places. Places has their own charm that mark their place in our hearts.
When we travelled to Bohol one of the places we visited is Panglao Beach. Panglao Island is known for its white sand beaches. You can opt to stay in there after a day tour around the different tourist destinations. There are many resorts or place to choose from depending on your budget. You can chose budget friendly resorts to high end resorts in Panglao.
After a day touring around Bohol, our tour guide/ van driver recommended us this resort called Dumaluan Beach Resort in Panglao Island. It's a beach front resort. We stayed there for a night which cost us around 50$ for the room. It was a little expensive for me but it was alright since we were tired and didn't have time to look for a place to stay. But when we saw our room, it was worth the price so there's no regret.
The room that we stayed was so cozy and I love how the room design imitate the payag or bahay kubo, a type of stilt house indigenous to the Philippines. The room was airconditioned, the bed was soft, and a television with cable channels was available. The room looked newly furnished and even the comfort room was so clean. It looked luxurious for me as someone who had not experienced luxury.
We ordered food from the resort restaurant which cost us around 10$. The amount of food we bought was good for 3 persons but it was not enough for the 3 us (We have big appetite, lol!) So for me the food was too expensive.
In the morning, we packed our things because we will be leaving for Cebu City. We cut short our travel itinerary since there was a typhoon expected to hit the Visayas region and we didn't want to get stranded.
But early that morning I decided to check out the beach since the resort is beach front. I love beach and I wanted to take a glimpse of Panglao beach before we leave. And that was the best decision I made while staying in Panglao.
The sun had risen and when I went to the beach I was mesmerized by its beauty. My jaw literally dropped with the amazing scenery that welcomed me. It was such a beautiful beach! Since it was early in the morning there were not much people. The beach was at its pristine form. The low tide made it looked more awesome.
The sand looked like it was sculptured by the waves and some sea creatures.
I couldn't hold my excitement as I explored the beach. There were so much beauty around me. I was overwhelmed. I couldn't help but feel the powdery sand on my feet and touched the sand with my hands and feel its softness.

I also was able to capture a white bird, we call it Tabon on the beach hunting for food. White sand and white bird, they looked so beautiful in white.
The array of coconut trees in one of the high end resort there also looked stunning.
And to wrap up my beach exploration, I wrote on the sand my name telling it that I was here. Though I knew it will be washed away by the sea, the beautiful memory of this place will never be erased im my mind and in my heart.
