Greetings Splinterfam! The end of my pack opening journey inches closer and closer as there are only 3 more pack openings after this until I reach my 100th pack opening of 2,000 CL packs. I am excited to see what the last few pack openings bring and hopefully it will be something good. On a different note, the proposal to ban bots in the Modern League has passed and as an Archmage user battling in Modern, so I am apprehensive of what the future of my account will look like.
Sigh…………..always a bad sign when the sentence starts with a sigh. When I thought pack openings couldn’t get worse, RNG decides to show me otherwise. This is officially my worst pack opening with my EV being below $1, way below $1. Never thought it could happen, but bad cards + weak card prices can do that to you. A very nice splattering or Neutral Commons, but only 1 GF Common. Also got 1 GF Rare, but just 3 Rare Summoners. Rare Summoners aren’t worth much now and Obsidian is less then $1!! Don’t remember the last time I saw that (although I am not a big follower of card prices). Got 5 Epics, which is above average and enough to max my Gem Meteor…..hooray!!?
You all will be very pleased with the card that I am about to give out this time round. It’s a crowd favourite as it’s a really great Neutral Common and it’s the Supply Runner!! OMG! Guess it’s not really a crowd favourite anymore as no one guessed it! Still lots of Deeplurker guesses, so I guess the Supply Runner will have to go into the pool. Who would have guessed?
Potions are running really low again and I always like to keep a buffer of 50 potions each for the dailies & season chests. So the next opening might be more then 3 days later, I am not trying to stretch this out, just not keen to spend more DEC when my luck has been so poor. Fingers crossed I get heaps of potions in my daily chests, if not I will most probably see you all again just before EOS. Good luck with your guesses and happy battling!
