I'm not going to lie, it took me a while to decide between the prompts. I've always loved writing, but especially writing on topics that really give my mind something to ponder over.
In the end, I decided to go with option number two - the dinner party.

My dinner party will be very cozy and quiet. It will be held in my garden at sunset - I love me some homey vibes and a picturesque sunset! My guests will get to enjoy a freshly made charcuterie board but also some delicious, Bulgarian meals. I'll have a few options when it comes to drinks - wine, some sangria, perhaps some lemonade and even a bottle of bourbon (which I have a feeling my first guest would love).
Soon enough, my guests start arriving. First one at my door is...

This comes as no surprise, at least to me! I've been obsessed with "Lucifer" for the past couple of years. I believe mostly because of this man but also the whole cast as well. There are many reasons why I'd invite him over dinner - he's a magnificent actor, a wonderful singer and he also seems hilarious so if there's any tension, he'd for sure lighten up the mood.
The biggest reason why I'd love to have Tom as one of my dinner guests is definitely the fact that I would get to discuss "Lucifer" with the devil himself 😁I find the whole idea behind the show fascinating, the execution was simply amazing. So it would be great to hear a bit more about the show, the characters and share some thoughts about the topics the series touched upon.
Once Tom has settled in, it will be time for my second guest. The one and only...

I kind of feel speechless when it comes to this man. He's...was such a genuine, kind human with an immense talent. I still can't believe he's gone - he was one of the musicians I thought would live forever. In a way, he does - through his music, through his fans, through his children.
The reason why I'd love to have him as my guest is mainly to thank him for getting me through a very difficult chapter in my life. I also have a feeling we'd get a good chat about trauma and the ways we cope with it. I would love to sing a duet with him!
And we're finally down to my last guest...This one took some thinking as there's many historic figures I'd love to have dinner with. Without further ado, the last spot on my table has been saved for no other than...
Tsar Simeon I

There are many Bulgarian rulers I'd love to chat with but this man has made such an impression on me ever since I was in elementary. I still remember reading about his reign and how Bulgaria reached its economic and cultural peak. If I'm being honest, I believe he was the first person I have ever admired. He was extremely well-educated, became fluent in Greek and played an essential part in the translation of books from Greek to Bulgarian. His reign is often referred to as the "Golden Age". He rose Bulgaria to a whole new level - within the cultural, spiritual and military aspects. His impact is beyond extraordinary.
The reason why I'd love to have Tsar Simeon I as my dinner guest, apart from the fact I'd be meeting my first ever hero so to speak, is I'd be honoured to share a table with one of the most amazing Bulgarians to ever exist; someone who has given his life to protect the country and transform it into one of the Byzantine Empire's greatest opponents at the time. I'd love to hear a bit more about his life and these amazing for the Bulgarian culture times that I've read so much about in my textbooks.
To sum it all up, it was pretty hard to only choose three people to have over dinner. However, I am extremely happy with my choices and I have a feeling they will get along. And in case they don't, well we have some wine to smooth things over with 😁
