Random Wednesday Sports Thoughts: Big Moves in the NFL

As you may or may not know, this used to be the weekly slot that was filled with my Fantasy Football posts from my family league. Now that the season is completed, I am looking for some new content to put here. Since this is my @bozz.sports account, it only makes sense that it would be sports content. I'm just going to keep things generic from here on out.

If you want to call it crap posting, that is fine, I understand. I don't make much rewards from these posts anyway, so it doesn't really matter. Of course don't let that stop you from supporting me. I do have my own person standard of quality that I try to live up to!

I saw the news the other day that Sean Payton the new coach of the Denver Broncos is not going to allow their quarterback Russel Wilson's personal coach into the team facility. I can respect that on a couple different levels. That is cool if Wilson wants to go out and do his own thing and get some extra reps or technique tweaks down, but the coach doesn't need to be around for that.

My niece used to take private pitching lessons for softball when she was in junior high and high school. I don't think anyone would have ever expected her to show up at a team practice with her pitching coach in tow. That would just be ridiculous.

I think those who are on the fence about this (if anyone is) needs to look at it through the lens I used above. If you wouldn't allow it there, why would you allow it here.

Honestly, it's not even about whether it is allowed or not. It's just tacky! Am I right?

As I have said in the past, I am a closet Broncos fan. If I am not cheering for the Lions, I am probably cheering for the Broncos. They've had some great talent over the years and a lot to be excited about.

Elway is a legend, so it Manning. I think Coach Payton could be the guy to bring back some of that glory to Mile High Stadium.

As I mentioned yesterday, Tom Brady is retiring. Has retired... again, I guess I should say. Apparently one of the other NFL quarterbacks that I love to hate it thinking about retiring as well. Aaron Rodgers said that he is going to spend four nights in complete darkness to contemplate his football future.

Let's be honest, he has proven through his State Farm Commercials with "Jake", that he probably has the personality to carry him into some kind of sports broadcasting career. As much as I don't want to see more Aaron Rodgers on my TV, I honestly think that would be the best move for him right now.

His performance this past season was pretty horrible. If he really cared about his team, he would open his eyes and call it a day.

Ah crap, I just realized after this coming week, the NFL is going to be all over and I am suddenly going to have two slots to fill with posts. I better figure out what I am going to do moving forward! I might have to dust off a third account and figure something out!
