Greetings, airdrop farmers!

At least two promising airdrops are happening during the next week. Season 2 of Etherfi has ended, the third one has just begun and now it's time to speculate on the allocations. Meanwhile, the highly anticipated Sanctum Wonderland is about to reward the faithful ones.

Let's take a closer look.

$CLOUD

This might be interesting if you have been liquid-staking SOL LSTs on Sanctum while farming their $CLOUD airdrop. Next Monday starts a "Sanctum Week" consisting of the highly anticipated $CLOUD airdrop to those who took part in the Wonderland LST staking campaign.

The airdrop is separated into two parts: 5% will go to stakers and 5% will go to those who have been active on their Discord or been promoting Sanctum on X, etc. I'm pretty sure I won't considered in the latter group so I'll be focusing on the 5% allocation to stakers.

I hate to be the bringer of bad news but just the other day I read that the airdrop(5%) will be completely linear meaning the more staked, the more you'll receive. I say bad news because it appears most of the tokens will go to larger whales even though 10 SOL would still put you close to the top.

Now, this is still very speculative but I found this Sanctum Airdrop Calculator in which you can input your points and your estimation of value at launch. I had 238k points plus a referral cupcake that will add 20k so here's the estimate with a $0.25 valuation:

It seems that I won't be giving up my day job anytime soon. To be honest, I thought I would have done a little bit even though I was farming this with just 1 SOL but like that disclaimer says, the actual amount may vary significantly. Fingers crossed!

The airdrop is supposed to happen on Jupiter's LFG Launchpool on the 18th.

$ETHFI

Another airdrop happening next week is season 2 of Ether.fi's governance token - $ETHFI. The first season was actually very good for a small fish like me as I bagged about $700 worth of $ETHFI. When I read that the second season would be linear I was a bit worried about being totally crushed by bigger ETH sharks but still decided to give it a shot.

Now it seems that my decision was actually a pretty good one. Even though my initial allocation would have been only 9 ETHFI, to my surprise, the team decided to top up smaller accounts if they pass the sybil survey.

The idea of the survey is of course to filter out sybils with multiple wallets trying to game the system. Since I'm only farming with one wallet and have been relatively active on the platform, I'm feeling quite confident. If and when I pass, I will be getting 91.6 ETHFI.

By the time of writing this $ETHFI is trading at $2.02 which would put this airdrop close to $200. Not as much as in the first season but a big number for me and way better than the $CLOUD drop.
