My $DOGS airdrop is now on its way to my wallet and even though it's not THAT much(~40), it proves that we can earn by using TON mini-apps.
It's obvious that Hamster Kombat and Catizen are pretty much over-crowded at this point with millions and millions of users. Still, these two could undoubtedly drop some pretty crazy airdrops to the early birds. Therefore I'm constantly searching for the next TON gems and keep adding the most promising ones to my daily grind list.
Rocky Rabbit
Rocky Rabbit is very similar to Hamster Kombat. I wouldn't call these "tap-to-earn" games anymore since the real earning comes from upgrading cards while tapping is annoying and only brings in pennies.
Even though the airdrop criteria haven't been announced yet, I'm guessing it might be similar to Hamster Kombat and reward those who do various activities such as upgrading, inviting friends, and watching videos.
RabBitcoin should be airdropped and listed sometime in the near future after the long-awaited battle feature.
I also have to mention the X Empire game which just announced that there's only a month left to farm their airdrop. In this light, I'd Rocky Rabbit is perhaps the least diluted out of these three very similar games.
Blum
Farming the Blum consists of auto-farming points, doing tasks(watching educational videos, following accounts, etc.) and playing a simple mini-game.
The reason I picked Blum on my list is that I keep bumping into it everywhere and it seems to be getting a lot of attention from the X crypto community. Even though it's a simple app, it keeps appearing on the Editor's Picks -lists and people are even developing bots to auto-farm the mini-game!
Dogs had that same kinda hype and if Blum could deliver an airdrop like that, I'd be more than happy with that.
SEED App
As a game, SEED App is pretty interesting. Besides the mandatory auto-farming points, we also get to hatch birds that will eat and hunt small maggots. These maggots come in different rarities and can bought and sold on the market. We can also buy and sell different kinds of eggs or breed more rare birds.
I'm not quite sure about the airdrop potential of this one but at least it's verified, doesn't take much time, and is actually a pretty fun concept.
Conclusion
Things I'm looking for in potential gems:
- Verified badge
- Doesn't take too much time
- Some sort of hype
Other than that, I would probably exclude the most popular ones, or at least those that have their airdrop date set very soon.
