In honor of the month of burn, here are my attempts to reimagine some iconic cards from the Fire Splinter in Splinterlands using MidJourney. Enjoy!
Tarsa
First off, Tarsa! MJ is able to beautifully interpret the red-haired summoner. I had plenty of choices which really captured the iconic flame-red hair, playful smile, and of course the flaming sparks in her hands, ready to burn!
Scavo Technomancer
The Technomancer was a bit harder to pull off, and I veered off of the hyper-realistic feel, guiding MJ to create a cyberpunk humanoid rat fiddling with numerous high-tech gizmos. Not sure what he's burning, but it's something.
Living Lava
For Living Lava I wanted something simple that really focused only on the lava and was abstract enough that it may almost not appear as a creature if you don't look carefully enough.
Exploding Dwarf
The Exploding Dwarf was fun to make and yielded lots of good results. I wanted one that preserved the iconic grin and flaming beard. Although the beard in the result I picked is golden, it's not quite burning, but the rest of it feels a lot like the original.
Venari Heatsmith
For the heatsmith, I wanted something that captured the dystopian darkness of the original, and also wanted the heatsmith to be almost falling into his own melting pot of lava, in honor of the recent Venari Heatsmith burn party organized by @aftersound.
Countess Sinash
Countess Sinash was actually surprisingly difficult to pull off for MJ. It might be her pose and... hands. MJ still struggles a bit with fingers & hands.
Hope you enjoy these renderings as much as I enjoyed making them, and to everyone in the Splinterlands family I wish you a fantastic month of burning!
