Now is the time for passive hive. If you're selling now I'm sure you have your reasons, but I wouldn't get too caught up in seeing the forest for the trees.
Hive to me is a long term vision. I'm not here to get rich quick but I'm also not here to make a few pennies either. We managed to wither the bear last time around and have set ourselves up in a monumental position for this bull market. It's really looking good for us.
Those that have bought LGN and staked it and are earning their hive for it then well done you. You will reap the rewards of an expensive hive come the time. When people are flailing around to buy 1 hive at $3 you will be earning it passively through one of the many passive schemes around these parts -- and there is a few. Kudos to those that held their heads strong through the cold winter of dismemberment.
Did you know that 99% of projects fail during a bear market? 99%, god damn, that's a high barrier. But then 99% of businesses fail too. Crypto is no different, if you treat it like a business and you work hard at it then you win.
If you have the right people around you of course -- and that's always really hard to manage. You have absolutely no choice of who comes into your life and wants to work with you. Sometimes it can be really exciting and fun, and when the good times are rolling -- they be rolling. Man. It can be awesome.
The true strength of a team though is what happens when the going gets tough. Just look at @splinterlands for example. Man those guys have had a tough time of it, way worse than I ever did. Slated from every angle, criticised eternally, and almost pounded into the gutter as people sold their assets for pennies in comparison to what they're worth. Damn, even lands you can scoop up for pennies on the dollar.
But they prevailed.
We worked with them a couple of weeks ago and woosh; I felt the rush of a fantastically precisioned well oiled machine. Something I haven't experienced since I left the working world. It's always been me on my own working hard and perhaps one or two people working with me. But wow, I felt the seriousness and precision of them, it was great to once feel that again.
And those guys are in deep water with the community and public perception. But after that I relaxed, sat back, and thought to myself, damn, this is going to be an exceedingly good bull market -- because we're heavily invested in splinterlands too. So it's a win win for us.
But back to my point -- when it got tough for them, the team didn't sell out and scatter across the wilderness; they worked harder. Got the pedal to the metal, ground their axe.
And that's what happened to us. We were lucky enough to have people around us that believed in the vision, the passive income, the slow but steady gains and they bought in hard and dug their heels in deeper.
And that's why you're going to probably have fun this time around. Slow but steady gains. It's going to be fun, you watch!
